A good buy!
The previous owners of my house did not extend the roof overhang on the shed so the rain basically falls right on the door edge down to the floor. It caused the shed floor to rot and I had to replace the front half. I didn't want to do that again so I began looking for a way to divert the rain without replacing the roof or extending it as I'm a senior lady, not real handy and on a budget. I'm happy to say these fit the bill and are good quality too. The span of the doors is 72 inches so I overlapped them a few inches. There have been a couple heavy rains and they seems to work very well.

Not cheap but a great product imho
Drip edge. Installed easily using good fastening techniques. Heavy duty, actually, not sheet metal, its an extrusion with a good black coating. I used on a mostly brown framework, and it is virtually indistinguishable from the brown. don't let color stop you from using this. Certainly expensive, but worth the money. I did not use on a door btw, but on a corner that was a problem.

Did the trick over a sliding barn door
Had some work done on my barn, including a new sliding barn door. I noticed after a rain storm, that some water had dripped behind the sliding door and onto the barn floor. Adding these did the trick. There wasn't quite enough clearance to make it so the drip cap extended beyond the sliding door. So I attached a 2x2 to the barn and then the drip cap to the 2x2. The drip cap does not come with pre-drilled holes, but it was easy to drill. I might have given it 5 stars if there was an option with more clearance, so I won't need the 2x2. I purchased the option of 2 sections covering about 104", which was a little more than the width of the door. It might have been nice if it was a single larger segment, although I got them as close together as I could and added some caulk for good measure.

These keep water from going inside your door way; in between the screen door and regular door.

All damaged in first order. No screw holes.
My original order of four pieces had every one of them scratched and/or cut poorly. All had to be replaced. The replacements were fine. It's hard to understand why damaged ones would have been shipped out. Note that these do NOT have predrilled screw holes. You will need the tools to drill them yourself.
