Ooowee is a fantastic versatile wooden trike which converts to a balance bike as your child grows. Ooowee is a fun way of helping your child learn the basics of balancing. By using their feet to move the bike forward, your child doesnβt have to worry about pedaling while at the same time learning to feel the dynamics of balancing. This takes the frustration out of learning to ride a bicycle for both the child and the parent! Ooowee helps your child to concentrate on balance first, making learning how to ride a bike much easier and much more fun! Birch plywood frame with unique flame design Perfect fit for most 2 years to 4 year olds (please measure inside leg) Easy to assemble with tools supplied (and convert to a balance bike) Soft padded seat Adjustable saddle height (30cm, 32cm & 34cm) Soft plastic handgrips with safety ends Dampened steering 23cm BMX style wheels with rubber inflatable tyres 30cm stand over clearance Weighs approx. 4kg 83 x 41 x 49cm (LxWxH) - in trike mode

The best route to confident cycling, great valuse and quality: now with third young family member.
We bought this trike for your oldest son when he was starting to become interested in riding a bike. He had it for his second birthday and used it in the three wheel mode for around 6 months, before moving to the balance bike mode. When the time came he quickly transistions to a pedal bike and was confidentally riding his pedal bike by the age of four. Using the trike, little brother moved even faster to pedal bike, which he was riding a couple of months before he was even 3! The trike is with their cousin now and despite heavy use, it has needed little maintenence and continues to work perfectly. Great value as offers first the option of trike, then balance bike. Avoids the need for stablisers when child moves to pedal bike. We believe stabalisers would have slowed their progress to pedal cycling. Highly recommend.

Seat too far back! Otherwise good trike!
Bit tricky to put together, especially the centre rod.Main problem is that the seat is way too far back, meaning that my son's feet hit the back wheels as he pushes, making the trike unsteady, so he tends to want to sit forward infront of the seat on the bars to avoid this. I've had to tape some padding to the 2 bars, because he will not sit on the seat at all. In that position, just a couple of inches forward, he's off - no problem!Hopefully he will eventually use the seat.Quite disappointed, especially given that it wasn't cheap!

I was surprised that the padding did not cover the whole of the wooden seat as it seems to do in the illustration. The damped steering is a very sensibly safety feature.

Love this bike
Love this bike, so does my son. Got it for him when he was 2. Still plays with it at 3. He has balance issues and the seat is a good size for him to stay on. Love that the seat can be adjusted to quite high and u have trike into bike. Easy to assembly and works on all terrains. Highly recommend

originally defective but fixed
Originally sent it to me with two wrong wheels and nearly missed my two year old triplet's birthday. After some to and throwing sent me a replacement trike and picked up old one at the same time. As it happens they did get the replacement to me in time.Had ordered the wishbone trike in the mean time as wasn't confident they would get the replacement to me in time. The Ooowee is a good trike but the wishbone trike is much better, as you would expect at three times the price.Could have done without the grief in the meantime.

Perfect replacement for scuttle bug
I bought this bike to upgrade my sons scuttle bug which was becoming too small. It is exactly what I was looking for. My son loves it. The only thing i would like to find for it is a hanger to carry it on the pushchair. I would highly recommend this product.

Great. Somewhat difficult to assemble. We have nothing to compare with but our gt. grandson loves it. Good value, yes.
