A miraculous solution to a difficult mud fever case, and a very happy, comfortable horse.
Superb product. The only thing that worked on my horses chronic pastern dermatitis. This cream soothes whilst its working, he allows me to apply it, and the scabs started to wipe away easily with cotton wool swabs, warm water and antiseptic solution after the first 3 days of application. (I always make sure I dry the legs properly after a clean up). It smells lovely, is thick and stays put! A truly miraculous solution to a very challenging problem.

Really seems to work
On my third tub, love this stuff and it really is magic! Cleared up bouts of mud fever on a couple of my horses and they don’t mind it being applied either. Scabs soften and come off within a couple of days and I just keep applying until skin stops looking pink. Has worked every time so far, and so so easy.

Used it for years - it’s fab!
Brilliant stuff! Used it for years! I think I preferred the old formula but does the job well on mud fever, scabs and photo sensitivity on horses. Great you don’t need to do anything other than apply it and carry on as normal

OK
It helped with one horse but not the other. Its easy to apply and smells nice, not that they care. It hasnt solved the problem and the tub is a bit small. I wont buy again.

Super ointment
Was recommended this ointment after my horses mud fever got suddenly worse after days of rain and colossal amounts of mud. His fur was coming off all the way around both back fetlocks. I applied this ointment to dry skin after a wash with hibiscrub and within a day the scabs were wiping off. I kept him out of the muddy field for 2 days, applying the ointment twice a day - I did not wash his legs off. Day 4 and I’ve used one whole pot and have ordered another. This stuff is amazing. The scabs are all gone and the skin is pink and healthy looking. I will keep applying twice daily until the mud is gone. I used more to begin with but now I feel that this new pot will last longer as I’ll only apply a small amount. He must have found this ointment soothing, previously when trying to apply sudocreme or pig oil he would kick out and become distressed, whereas with this ointment he stands for it to be applied.

It works!
Fabulous stuff. By far the best results of anything we’ve tried and we’ve tried many.

Works great definitely worth the money
Bought this to treat my 30 year olds mud fever he'd developed with the wet conditions we've had this winter. I caught his mud fever before it was sore and used this every other day as he only had isolated areas of scabs. I used this alongside turnout boots to keep him dry and clean of mud. Two weeks later no scabs and no mud fever. I looked for the last scab today and couldn't find any areas to treat. Hair is growing back nicely

Unfortunately didn’t work on mud fever
Unfortunately Didn’t work on my horse 🐴 bought 2 tubs and actually made the mud fever alot worse so now the vet is coming (basically £50 down the drain) doesn’t last very long as not a very deep tub.
