Pretty sound
Fun and comfortable kalimba with nice sound. Fun to play, and anyone can do it. However, they need to include instructions on how to connect the kalimba to the blue speaker with cable that you recommend purchasing with the Moozica kalimba. Explain charging the items, how to get it to connect each time, what the various buttons do. Call customer support for help. I almost returned everything, but a customer support person walked me through the set up.

The most fun I had with a kalimba!
The media could not be loaded. I'll start from the cons, since they are completely outweighed by the pros- This is the heaviest kalimba I held, it is a solid slab of wood as promised, and that means that it's way heavier than your average kalimba.- i would enjoy a more pronounced built in delay for some additive ambient playing.Okay that's the negatives, and now to talk about everything I love about it!+ First of all, it sounds AMAZING, I could fall asleep to it ❤️It's hard to stop playing it tbf.+ It's connectivity is super simple, aux or trs.I connect it to my minirig speaker for some portable vibes.+ Having chorus and delay on a kalimba is a game changer, but you can go deeper with pedals and such.I connected it to a Roland Aira E-4, and it was some of the most fun I've had with a kalimba!Gonna experiment with a HABIT pedal in a few days!+ It looks like it needs power, but the video is taken after an hour of use out of the box, and so it's note put of battery!+ While it is heavy for a kalimba, it still is absolutely useable while walking, as long as you have what to connect to it!Honestly, from simple jamming to ambient affect stacking, I'm beyond impressed, and I cannot wait to find a proper space for that in my hardware synth setup.Absolutely recommended for anyone who wants to experiment with sounds in their work, anyone who wants a refreshing new player in their studio, or people who like to jam anywhere. :)

Best Kalimba Available
I assume this is as good as it gets for kalimbas. After playing the model with the piano layout, I can't imagine going back to a traditional kalimba. Easy to play, sounds incredible, and is well made. Sounds great unplugged or plugged in, and the effects are a fun bonus (but limited). I can't overstate what a joy it is to play this.I wish this company would make a version that's about twice as wide with another octave down, more space between keys, and more robust effects (if the company is reading this, my wish list would be eq, tremolo (with depth and speed), delay (with time and repeats), and reverb.

Low Quality, Disappointing Christmas
I've been playing Kalimbas for 20 years and have seen everything from a hollowed out gourd with tines, to a professional wooden Kalimba with interior pickup and this instrument arrived in poor condition, with clear manufacturing defects.Everything was tuned a note down from where it should have been. The high notes won't stay in tune because the backer board isn't set right. Each tine can't be tuned to the actual note shown on it, because they are not long enough for you to adjust them to get the correct pitch.AND the built in effects are mediocre. The delay adjusts incorrectly, on volume rather than number of repeats. And the "Chorus" effect is more of a tremolo than anything else. While it's really nice to have an internal piezo pickup, I would call this instrument anything but professional. My gourd kalimbas stay in tune better than this thing, and are easier to play.I was excited to play a "Professional" Kalimba with an interior pickup, and instead I was disappointed upon plugging this into my setup and realizing it just isn't functional. I will likely ask for a refund, as this product just doesn't work as it should.

Beautiful instrument!
This is my best and favorite kalimba by far! It's so much fun to play and is beautifully tuned out of the box! I take it with me all the time in it's handy case.t's a little pricey, but so worth it! I'm very happy with this kalimba.

It is a little metallic and small. Higher notes do not resonate.
The keys are fairly thin and close together so it might be difficult for larger fingers. The keys do not have a raised tip. The higher notes are very quiet and barely resonate. It mostly sound sharp and metallic. Still a good value for the price, but not great if you want to record.

I bought the 21 key Kalimba.
With Kalimba I purchased an output cable that is 6.35 x 3.5 diameter cable and this JBC water proofspeaker. I like both the chorus and delay buttons. I tried the headphone feature and it has a good clear sound in them. The only difficulty was the weight of it. It can get heavy. I just started learning the 17 key one ,so it's not too hard switching to the 21 keys. I wish they labeled the keys so you can see them better. I'm buying key note stickers. That will help. Overall a cool device.
