This sunset projection lamp is way more powerful than I expected for the price. The colors are vivid, rich, and create a gorgeous gradient on the wall. When paired with plants or other objects, the shadows and glow look amazing - perfect for room ambiance, photos, or just relaxing. I love that it comes with both a remote and an app. The remote works great, and the app gives you more customization over colors and brightness. It’s not the most modern-looking app, but it functions well and gets the job done. Rotation is smooth, the build feels sturdy, and it’s easy to adjust. My only minor complaint is that it doesn’t seem to remember the last color/brightness setting once turned off, so I have to reselect it every time. Also, the cord could be a little longer depending on your setup. Overall, this is an awesome little light that delivers way more than expected. Would definitely recommend it for anyone looking to add some creative lighting to their space.

First and foremost: be sure to download the app if you want more color and brightness options. I read reviews stating the lamp gets hot if left on too long, but if you use the app, you can turn the brightness down further than the remote allows … it will still put out a decent amount of light while remaining cool for hours. I never had a problem with it being warm while keeping the brightness at a reasonable level. It still shines far in a room while providing enough light even at the lowest setting. As for the color options, you do get more via the app. You’ll see a whole RGB color wheel where you can pick any shade, but I’m going to be honest … you’re not going to see every color. It’s still a bit limited as some colors lack with how they show. For example: If you want to see a coral or peach tone, it will just show red or orange just at a different brightness, light pastel pink or lilac appears a more deep purple shade or hot pink, any teal or mint tones will just go blue or green with no in between. There will be no pure white tone as it will always have a yellow hue like a soft warm lightbulb. The RGB wheel makes it seem like there are millions of shade combos, but nah’ it’s limited with a preselected mixture. However, there’s still enough shades to choose from through the app using the color wheel that you can get a good match for whatever mood you’re in… If you’re unable to get the app, the remote itself still offers a decent selection to quickly change things. As for the item itself, it feels pretty sturdy and has decent weight to it. Doesn’t feel like cheap flimsy plastic. The height that is shown with the tripod is as high as it will go — it isn’t adjustable. Only the legs and swivel for the light itself is adjustable to put it at certain angles. The cord isn’t very long, but it’s not anything that extension cords can’t fix if you need it to go further from an outlet. Overall, it’s a nice little lamp that is great to give someone as a gift for their room, to have in your own home to set for certain moods, or to use as a way to give unique lighting for photos or videos.

It is definitely worth the money. Has plenty of different choices of lighting, great for the room for a little get together or just a cozy night in.

I recently bought this sunset light on Amazon, and I absolutely love it! I use it for mood lighting in my bedroom, and it really sets a relaxing atmosphere. The light has a great range of colors and brightness options, which is perfect for creating different vibes depending on the time of day or my mood. However, it can be a bit tricky to use all of its features without the remote or phone app—the control built into the cable isn't easy to navigate. Also, I noticed that the transitions between the colors don’t have as much delineation between them as shown in the listing photos, but it's still a great range of hues. One of my favorite things about this light is the bendable legs. They work perfectly to hold the light onto different objects, and it even stands on its own when placed on a table. It’s not too large, so it’s easy to store in a side table drawer or keep in an inconspicuous place when not in use. Overall, it’s a fantastic product that I would recommend, not just for bedroom mood lighting but also for everyday lighting or even holiday decorations around the house!

Stunning! The app was a totally worthy add on, it has a wheel for you to customize, or options to make it a certain scene, even some ambient noise too. I have yet to use the remote because the app is too convenient. The only downside to the app is you have to re connect to it every time, but it’s a minor connection flaw.

This sunlight projector works great. It performs just as expected. However the reason for a three star review instead of a five star review is the fact that the app is completely pathetic. In other words, it just quite simply does not work. It can be operated with the in-line controller, which I am glad about and I am so very glad that I went on and purchased the remote control which also works great. The app is a complete joke and probably has not been updated since who knows when. A great item except for the app. So if you don’t feel that you need app control ,this would be a great purchase.

Good product, good vibes, no complaints. Have had it for 6 months or so and no problems. FYI- it does get hot so I don’t feel comfortable leaving it out if I’m not home with a cat around. Colors are great. Easy to adjust and flexible.

Update (February 2025) I contacted sent customer service a message on the website describing my issue, then they asked for my address. I got a replacement in December and it’s been working really well since then. I’m satisfied so I give this product 5 stars instead of 3. — Old review (December 2024): 3/5 stars I’m frustrated because I want to like the product fully to give it a 5-star rating. I don’t understand why the eventually lamp switches itself back to the purple hue even when I’ve already switched it to a different color and manually turned it off, on, and off within a few seconds to verify the color change. When I turn it off manually while it’s set to a different color, then unplug it, then plug it back in, it automatically switches on that purple hue. I used to have it set to the purple hue and unplugged it while it was still on. I did that about 3-4 times. Then after I started noticing that it would switch back to purple, I decided not to unplug it while it was still on. That didn’t work. I have one specific example that just happened which prompted me to immediately write this review. Last night, I set the lamp to a sunset color and turned it off using the button on the cord. My lamp is connected to a smart bluetooth power outlet that is set to switch on at my wakeup time. This morning I woke up expecting to see the sunset color switched on, but I saw that the lamp reverted to the purple hue. Ahhhh! I just missed the return deadline so I can’t return this and I’m disappointed with the inflexibility of changing the color. Otherwise, I like the build, color versatility *when I’m manually controlling it*, and the calming effect.
