This gas cap is like the oem except it does not have the cap strap to the body like the oem cap. The locking mechanism works very well.

I purchased this because it said it would fit my 2000 Monte Carlo. Nope Not even close.

Works great but a little hard to tighten all the way. When I first put it on check gas cap light came on. Had to disconnect the battery to reset computer so light would go off. After making sure gas cap was on all the way no more problems.

Piece of junk, almost impossible to unlock Has directions written on cap for how to unlock and the directions don’t work. Get another brand. if you like being at a gas station almost out of gas and you are unable to get the gas cap off then get this one! Worse than garbage. Even when it was new on the first day it was a piece of junk. I struggled by with this cap for about 6 months but should have dumped it in the beginning. It also has an irregular key blank that Ace Hardware didn't have among their hundreds of key blanks.

Does not fit 2003 F-150. It’s threaded and does not screw in. It looks like it does but it doesn’t. You can pull it right out without turning or unlocking.

Bought this because someone decided I had too much gas in my old Ranger and relieved about half of my gas tank. Fits great and works well!
