One of my favorite things
I am in love with this bird feeder. It is the second one I purchased because the first one was so awesome. The solar panel works flawlessly. I’ve never seen the battery less than two bars, even when it recorded a raccoon eating ALL NIGHT! Picture and video quality is fantastic. Ai is 95% accurate. It is a service I am happy to pay for going forward. Why did you pick this product vs others?:This has higher ratings than Bird Buddy. Squirrel protection:There is none. You gotta figure out how to keep squirrels away. I’m on v3 of an obstacle course. Fingers crossed this one works.Capacity:It will vary on how many birds (and squirrels!) but I find with about 300 visits a day, it lasts 5-7 days. 1/2 a 5 lb bag fills the house. Gift value:Priceless!! Sincerely. This thing is the gift that keeps on giving! Build quality:It has survived two bears feeding. Neither bear could open the top…one did break the mount off the tree, but the feeder suffered no damage. Impressive.

Excellent choice for bird watching
This bird feeder was easy to assemble and comes with everything you need—except a microSD card. The included solar panel has a long cord, which gives flexibility for placement. It also includes a fixed mounting base for both the feeder and the solar panel, plus a heavy-duty strap if you prefer to mount it without using screws. The camera has a wide field of view and takes clear, sharp pictures. It holds about a quart of bird feed, which is a decent capacity. One great feature is that the camera can double as a supplementary security camera when not being used for birdwatching. You can use it without a subscription, but keep in mind it won’t identify birds unless you subscribe. Still, we’re really enjoying getting a close-up view of our feathered visitors. Highly recommend for backyard bird enthusiasts!

Some assembly required
Don’t mistake this for an easy build right out of the box! It may take more than 30 min to put together. I did not let that deter me however. It was fairly easy to set up. It took way longer than I anticipated to charge (about ten hours). I am hoping I don’t have to worry about that once I add the solar panel. The strap that comes with the birdhouse is super long, so it will be able to fit a variety of tree sizes. Overall fairly pleased with it. I am wondering how it will hold up to the squirrels. 🐿️

Great feeder, not so great solar charging.
Love the feeder, would have given 5 stars, but to recharge the camera I have to hook it up to a battery pack or bring inside, the solar charging just does not work, it will show the charging indicator as charging, but the percentage just keeps falling, and I have tried with 3 different solar panels, so i don't believe it's an issue with the panels. Other than that it's z great feeder.

I absolutely love this bird feeder
This birdfeeder takes birdwatching to a whole different level. My favorite part is downloading the clips so you can slow them down to catch moments like when that finches soul left her body as the cardinal came in. I'm also inordinately fond of my goofy woodpecker. You'll have to make your own arrangements to protect it from other critters as it has no defensive features. I work overnights and one night had to watch helplessly as a raccoon feasted on it for hours, blissfully ignoring me as I yelled through the speaker, flashing the light and sounding the alarm in futility. Perhaps the maker could add a remotely controlled slapper- an addition for which I would pay happily through the nose.I took the app screenshot around 10 in the morning and you can see that the battery is already at 99%, so it doesn't lose much during the night and the solar seems to be keeping up pretty well with consumption. Even the night of the raccoon raid where I was using the remote features heavily didn't put much of a dent in it and it was fully charged the next day. It's late winter in South Florida so it hasn't seen much weather yet; we'll see how it goes once the daily afternoon storms start in summer.I dislike that it keeps asking if I know my car; at first I thought it was just learning how to identify it but then it said I couldn't add anymore known cars and realized it was adding it as a different car every time. The AI struggles a little with motion identification sometimes, like seeing its own reflection and labeling it a person or calling a rat a bird. I'm assuming it'll get better as it learns more. I wouldn't aim it towards anywhere "sensitive" as it is literally a straight up security camera with a birdfeeder attached and you can never be too sure where else those clips go when they go to the cloud, but that could just be me being overly privacy minded (although clearly not TOO overly considering I'm posting pictures of my yard on Amazon so there's that)

Birds all day!
This bird feeder with a camera has completely transformed how I enjoy watching birds. It’s like having my own personal nature documentary, right in my backyard.Camera Quality:The image resolution is excellent—clear, sharp, and detailed enough to identify different bird species easily. Even the night vision works surprisingly well, giving me 24/7 viewing access. It even includes motion detection alerts, which is a fun bonus when birds arrive! Holds a large section of birdseed.

Works good, easy setup
Nice way to watch the birds and squirrels. The squirrels chew up the roof cover when bird seed is gone. Learned to buy spicy bird seed and it keeps the squirrels away.

we like it
1. there is a 50$ a year subscription fee for the app to use ai, no clue what it does without it, but it wont do bird finding or zones to stop it recording a swinging tree (the camera is just a normal home smart camera they stuck in a feeder and added some "ai").2. if you buy the pole and the squirrel blocker as suggested it's same price as the feeder3. you will spend more than 6x the cost of this on feed as you probably already know if you feed birds4. it's pretty awesome we love it.
