Very comfortable
I ordered a size 9 1/2 and they fit perfect. Very comfortable to walk in. None of the rivets for the shoelace rigs dig into the top of your feet which is nice. And they seem to keep my feet dry in wet grass. I imagine they'd be ok to cross a small, not to deep stream with them .

LIKE, GREAT!
Lot room in toes.Perfect fit.Good heel and rocks back a bit, nice relaxed.Room for my innersoles.Strong but light.4 stars; Wish the lace holes were real holes. They are metal loops and look glued on. Seems like they could break off easily. Will probably have to drill my own holes in the material.

Expectations met... updated after one year of service
UPDATE: One complete hard hunting season down and the RunFuns are still in like new condition. I learned that you may, upon an emergency stop, fall on your face when wearing these but you mos def will not slip! Still good old 5 stars! My first impressions. I have had a pair of Herman Survivors for the last 4 years or so that are STILL quite serviceable. Those boots disappeared from the shelves some time ago so I was looking for something similar. There is no doubt that the Runfun boots are made by the same company. These updated boots addressed my minor design concerns. Looks like they got a great makeover. Thing is, I LOVE my old boots and I'm sure I'll love my new Runfuns. In my case I had a swollen foot when I got my first pair so while I'm an 11W, I got size 13 and put Spenco foot supports in them. It was the perfect solution. Plenty roomy and very comfy. Likewise the Runfuns. There is ample ankle support. That's important. And you won't slip down. One thing I noticed is that the uppers are flared out a bit at the top, evidently with an eye to stuffing your pants legs inside the boot. And they feel fine right out of the box as others have noted. There is only one places that needs a little walking in and that is the boot top. There is a little bit of give right in the middle and it will feel better once you break that spot in.These are not high dollar precision walkers...cushy soles for sneaking, etc. They are ground maulers. I use mine year round in wet grass, gardening and so on. The Runfuns are light and your feet will stay dry. Absolutely no chance of the wet feet as long as you don't go swimming. If you are a year round outdoorsman expect your citified shoes to gather dust. You're going to love these things as much as I do. Guaranteed.

Well made, comfortable. Water resistant no water proof
I liked everything about this boot. It however is not water proof above the bottom of the middle of the boot. But extremely comfortable to hunt in in rough country. Great ankle and foot support. Tightens well. With that being said about not water proof above the mid line. It does dry out extremely quickly while keeping your feet warm. Your socks dry quickly. I am uncertain how. It reminds me of the way the old army jungle boots used to dry . Well worth the money.

Awful Quality
Upon first getting the boots they seemed good. After wearing them 3 times for a maximum of 7 hours on non rugged terrain the soles are already falling off of the boots. Beyond disappointed and frustrated at the waste of money these boots were.

Chinese import of cheap eyelet parts
Received the boots today in mail. Tried one on and it is a bit wide to the fit, but will work with heavier socks. BIG PROBLEM here is I tried on the other boot, started to tighten the laces and the lowest eyelet broke at a very weak link as noted in picture. Bad workmanship right out of the box. Really cheap metal about 1/16" or less thickness to hold the laces on each eyelet. I need these boots for a hike planned, so may return them as soon as I try them out. This is unacceptable quality. I jury rigged the eyelet to work for me in a short time frame. Other than that, the boots are very light, so will see how they do on a steep mountain hike. Now for the 2nd pair; have worn them basically for a month, and I use them daily for outside chores. The stitching on the inside of left boot nearest left toe, is failing quite badly, and the top foot part of the right boot is getting a hole started from too light weight of nylon on these boots. They are comfortable, but I can't justify returning boots that fail every month. Good idea gone bad with poor workmanship. Now, after just over a month of wearing, another total eyelet pulled out along with fabric. A hole developed on the top of one boot above the toes, and also another hole in the fabric has developed just below the first wrong of lacing. Very cheap nylon fabric to be using on boots for active outdoor wear.

Comfortable but have some issues
The boots themselves are quite comfortable. Decent traction in mud, ice, and snow. Would have been a higher rating but the eyelets for the laces are rather sharp along the edges and cut through the laces in the first month. One of the sets of lace hooks broke off completely as well.
