When we bought our cabin in Island Park, the well water went straight to the house without any filtration. Our well water has iron discoloration and some sediment drawn up from the well that was staining appliances and clogging the faucet filters. I added this filtration system and after one season, I'm very happy with the results. The water tastes great (there is zero smell or taste from the filter), and there is no more iron staining of appliances or sediment in the water. It was easy to install, and I included a bypass so if I need to service the filters, I don't need to turn off the water to the cabin. I've not had any leaks, and I wonder if the photos by other reviewers showing leakage is really condensation on the filter housings. For example, my well water is around 40 degrees, so even in the cool of the underground well house, I still get lots of condensation on the filter housings (as evidenced by the wet floor in my photo). Someone also showed the carbon filter turning black, but that is normal (carbon is black after all). I am very happy with these filters and would buy again.

Very nice clean installation. Great water quality. I had it professionally installed for $650 with bypass valves for serving filters.

The filter system arrived unscathed and on time. It was far more work to remove the old system than it was to install the new. It also requires a much smaller footprint, I mounted ours to the concrete basement wall. The plumbing is straightforward as well. I took the opportunity to replace the old valves....those are required in order to change the filters. The double O-rings sealed well, and was happy with no leaks to be seen. Our well water tastes clean again, nor have seen any signs of iron, (rust) an issue in this part of New England. It has been in our home for about two months (+/-) and is filtering as well as when new with no loss of water pressure. I highly recommend this system, solid parts, oil-filled pressure gauges, and overall good quality. Clearly it is important to check if this an install that requires a plumber...the install is not difficult but mistakes can be costly.

Works well and fits standard size replacement cartridges. I searched hard to find a system with 3 pressure indicators to monitor the drop across each filter.
