nuLOOM Kiyoko Vintage Floral Area Rug, 8x10, Turquoise

Fantastic for the price. Threads not as tightly woven as more expensive rugs but this is a much better density than I was expecting for the price.Colors in the “pink” rug were identical to photo as displayed on my iPhone. Marine blue, fuschia/hot pink, royal purple, buttery yellow, and a rusty orange that still has a brightness to it. Small bits of Navy. Background has tones of both cream and gray. It reads gray in certain lights and cream in others.I have a LOT of green leaning blues, aquas, and teals in my home, so know they are hard to match. I wouldn’t call this blue “teal” but it leans green and there are light and dark of the same shade. Generally when you find this shade on items it’s called things like marine blue or ocean. Like a cerulean blue.In my photo, the walls are SW Hazel and piano is a custom color teal. Storage container in the corner is aqua.If you like jewel tones, this rug is perfect!

I purchased this in 2'6" x 6' runner size in the color blue. I was so excited to receive it for my new house and intended to put it in front of my sliding back door.I was incredibly dissapointed to see that this looks nothing like the picture. It's hard to tell from the photos I took but it looks like a printer was running out of ink. I get it's supposed to have some faded spots because of the style but the colors were nearly non-existent aside from some random splotches. It is a lot lighter than expected and you can barely see the pattern.In addition, this rug is extremely stiff and doesn't have a good backing to go on hardwood floor so it slides around all over the place. It's a little larger than 6ft too so it didn't fit the space I needed it for by about an inch. I will be sending this back and am so sad it wasn't as advertised.

First, the good:The rug arrived well packaged - rolled ap and securely wrapped so it was clean and had minimal creasing. The size is accurate, and it seems to be well finished with no fraying edges or shedding. There is no strong chemical odor. It's extremely slippery when placed on ceramic tile, but with a few pieces of double sided carpet tape it seems very secure.The bad:I ordered the blue, and the color is so disappointing. In the picture it looks like it's going to be 2 shades of bright blue, yellow, white, and a touch of gray. The rug I received is primarily a light taupe/gray with faded blue, very faded navy, tan, and gray. It looks like the pattern was stamped on, and the stamper was almost out of blue and navy, but had plenty of gray and taupe. Parts of the blue design are missing. It results in a muted almost muddy look, not the bright and sunny rug I thought I was ordering.I'm keeping the rug for two reasons. First, I ordered it because my elderly coonhound has started slipping on the tile kitchen floor. I need it for her comfort and safety, and she doesn't care what color it is; she's just happy to be able to zoom through the kitchen to the back door again!Second, I couldn't see the color until I completely unwrapped it. To unwrap it I had to cut the plastic wrap all the way down. It would be difficult to rewrap and return it, and I'm feeling too lazy to even try.

I was drawn to the vibrant colors of the rug and its modern floral pattern. However, the colors appear slightly more subdued than the picture indicates. I was happily surprised that the rug is slightly thicker than anticipated. Also, it does not highlight dirt and debris unlike other carpets in my house that showcase dog hair.

The rug is soft and the pattern looks just as shown, except that the colors are much darker but at the same time not as bright as they appear in the picture. I bought this rug thinking the colors evoked summer: cyan/sky blue, tangerine, bubblegum pink. Instead the colors evoke autumn: dark teal, pumpkin orange, fuchsia/magenta. Not quite what I expected.

Just received this a little bit ago and unpackaged it, rolled it out only to have lots of creases, I am hoping they will flatten out . I was so excited about this rug but right now it looks bad. My other nuloom rug was great as soon as we unrolled it .

I purchased this rug to go by the front door. I wanted something bright and cheerful to replace the ugly black rubber floor mat we had in place for several years. I originally bought it in the 3x5 size, since that was the size mat we had by the front door originally. The rug was so pretty that after we received it, I decided to return the 3x5 and go up in size to the 4x6. That was a good move. The rug stands out even more. The whole family likes it.

I needed a new rug for my living room and found one made by NuLoom that I adored. I ordered it. Somehow it got lost during shipping so I went back & found another rug made by NuLoom that I liked. It happened to be this rug. I wasn’t as crazy about this one, but decided to take my chance that it wouldn’t get lost. It made it to my house and anyone that comes in comments on how beautiful the rug is. I even had someone who visited purchase the same one after seeing mine. It’s got rich, vibrant colors and stays extremely clean with two small boys and pets in the home. If you are hesitant on buying this rug-don’t be! It’s beautiful!The only con I can think of-it’s not extremely thick.

I've been eyeing this rug for months now. Initially I was only going to get the 7 foot wide, but decided to wait until the 10 foot was back in stock. I kept coming back to the listing and looking through every review and picture, trying to decide if I would regret it or not. Would the colour be as bright? Would it smell? Would it be super folded up like others? Yes, it is BRIGHT. The smell is barely perceptible, unless I am sitting on the ground. I rolled it up the opposite way and let it sit in the sun for a couple hours, and it laid mostly flat. I'll be getting some double sided corner pads to keep the one end down for now.

I loved the colours and pattern of this rug on the site but when it came the colours are not as bright as it shows in the pictures .
