Great quality very responsive, easy to install, no issues whatsoever, excellent compsct size.

While I think these days it's easier most of the time just to mount my phone I thought this would be a cool alternative, mainly for maps. It does work pretty well but I tried using it on the go and ended up going back to my default phone maps. It is surprisingly responsive and bright enough for day use. I'll have to test more features to see if I would use this regularly.

I've had I love hate relationship with Android Auto and the devices that I could use to connect to it. I have Android Auto running in my truck and I love it! Unfortunately, the direct connection often cuts out in his unreliable, so I have it now running through a third party dongle. The dongle works 80% of the time and the other 20% I need to fuss with it or unplug it or turn the truck off walk away walk back to the truck turn it on. A bunch of BS like that, but even with those minor infrequent frustrations, absolutely love the convenience and features that Android auto provides for me. In fact, My wife's car which is a few years older doesn't have this and never seems to work even when I plug my phone in to the USB data port. I haven't been able to figure out why that never works, but even the dongle was super unreliable in her car.Like I mentioned above, most of the dongles are junk. Even the ones that are decent can have severe connection issues. I didn't find that at all with this device.There weren't really any directions of substance in the box, but it was pretty intuitive to figure out. I plugged it in to my car it booted up and basically gave me some options to choose from. I chose what I needed which was carplay and off I went. I connect it to the device in my Wi-Fi settings and it immediately recognized my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra.I'll be testing this out on a long drive in her car to see what the reliability is like, but in terms of setting it up getting it working and the quality of the display and the easy connection to the sound port, I really like this device! Finally, I can drive her car without driving myself crazy trying to look at the maps on my phone and simultaneously listening to her tell me all the things I'm doing wrong. Now I can just put on Android Auto tune everything else out get the turn-by-turn and listen to my music and enjoy my drive.Verdict: this is the best Android auto device safe tried and I've tried a bunch of them. I highly recommend this for anybody who wants Android Auto and doesn't have it built into their vehicle or maybe is unable for their device to show up on their vehicle screen (that was my case with the 2014 Nissan Altima.)Recommended product.

I decided to order this device to replace my Echo Auto in my truck. I'm able to make calls a lot clearer now, as well as have visual access to either GPS or Spotify. Audio quality is a little wierd and had to tweak things on my phone to make the music sound okay. My main 2 gripes with it are the number of times Android auto crashes and I have to restart the device and how it will override my bluetooth selection on my phone. I like to take calls on my Shokz most of the time, and every time I specifically choose them to use on the call, it switches back to this device and I have to unplug it. That's the main reason that I gave it 4 stars. It's a nice device to have if you need Android auto or Apple Car Play added to an older vehicle though!
