where do I find the message box for engraving . Is it after I put in my card details

No it should be before but, if you cannot see the gift message box the engraving can be sent in an e-mail through contact seller.

I put my message to be engraved in the message section as i purchased the box, do i need to do anything else?

Hi,You put your text in the right place. However, you've put too much. We state that you can use 15 characters on each of 3 lines. We can stretch this t0 4 lines but the font would be too small if we engraved your full message. Please revise your text  and either reply to this message or use the contact seller button on Amazon. Personalised Silver Plated Antique Style Trinket or Jewellery Box ENGRAVING INSRUCTIONS: All gifts are engraved in-house to exceptionally high standards. We choose fonts appropriate to the gifts (see photo above), but if you have a favourite font, please let us know and wherever possible, we'll try to match it.1. Maximum Engraving: 3 lines, with 15 characters per line (including spaces). Longer messages may be accommodated, but the font will be smaller.2. Add item to basket and tick the box that states: This will be a gift3. Use the Free Gift Note Box to specify the text you would like engraved (this is what we use for engraving, NOT a gift note). You can also give any special instructions, such as font requests. Please follow our maximum limit, not the limit of 255 characters set by Amazon.Please take care when typing as we cannot be held responsible for your spelling errors / typos. We will correct errors IF we notice them and alter punctuation or capitalisation if appropriate.If your engraving instructions are missing, too long or unclear, we will need to contact you to discuss them. To minimise any possible delays please leave up-to-date contact details when ordering just in case. If we do not receive a reply by the shipping date, the item will be sent out without any engraving.Should you NOT require engraving, state this in the gift message box.
