Yes this is expensive for what it is but then there isn't really anything like it on the market. I'm male and wanted something that would hold my keys, phone and wallet without making me feel like a twit. I hang this around my neck, inside my jacket and the slim profile is ideal for this and is invisible once on. In the dark grey it's a neutral, masculine colour and is much better for me than a bumbag which is a much more dated/obvious looking lump that gets in the way when you sit down, and makes your coat ride up at the back. There are slim profile bumbags or waist pouches but they're a little uncomfortable too and I could just never make peace with the whole feel of a waist pack. I think in the summer, without a jacket, I would prefer a small backpack to this, but for travelling (passport & tickets etc.) and times when you're wearing a coat it is ideal. It's large enough for phone, keys, wallet and assorted odds and ends but small enough not to be noticeable once on. The strap is thin but feels surprisingly robust and has plenty of potential adjustment. In short I think this is the most neutral, unobtrusive of man-bags and the one I feel most comfortable using. It allows me to free up my pockets and avoid that unflattering pack-horse look with pockets bulging in every direction. It's easy to take things in and out of it and you don't feel silly doing so. Finally the fabric is dense, soft, durable and likely to age very well. Yes it's not cheap but it's probably worth the modest cost.

This is the perfect small bag for carrying the absolute minimum: I fit mobile phone, card or a little cash (or field notes and card/cash). The strap is adjustable so you can fix so it sits between armpit and waist under a coat or wear over clothes as a small cross-body bag. What makes it so convenient is also what makes it a little 'incovenient': it doesn't fit too much and gets awkward if stuffed. Other than that, the good quality you expect from the brand and functional design.

I wanted a small black bag so this was perfect. Simple design as you’d expect from Fjallraven. Has an internal pouch which fits a phone nicely and also a zip pocket on the back. Strong press stud closure. Strap is adjustable. Fabric can be re-proofed with the Greenland wax. I wore it in a downpour and the rain beaded up nicely on it.

Nice but a bit small for me so passed it to my daughter. She loves it and it will last a long time for her

Exactly the size and colour specified, the usual top-notch Fjallraven quality, and feels light yet sturdy when worn. At a somewhat tight squeeze, it holds: Fjallraven passport wallet filled with cards and some change, pocket knife, nail file, travel bottle of hand sanitizer, 2 tissues, keys, a pack of gum, a lip balm, and strictly nothing else. I find this ideal for short outings, evenings out, or slipping into my bookbag on days I have uni. On the expensive side, but I expect this pocket to last for many years. Delighted with my purchase.

This was a present for someone else and I was impressed with the quality but I expected nothing less from Fjallraven, only used Amazon to get this product.Would buy again :)

I own a fjallraven backpack and I wear their trousers for work (outdoors), so I thought this ‘pocket’ would be handy for a trip.It is of course well made and understated BUT the strap is made from another material and whilst being strong it rubs on bare skin so if you are just wearing a t shirt the strap will give you a sore neck, this is really annoying and makes me not want to carry on using the bag.
