I purchased this backgammon set since I got invited to a neighborhood meet up. I had an old set that was over 30 years old so I wanted to nice replacement, and this was it! My only comment is that the back and pieces are on the smaller side, but I can’t complain with the price and the attractiveness of the product.

The side of the darts catch the pieces as you try to move so you can't slide them, you have to pick them up. This may improve with time?I wish the pieces or darts were not exactly the same black. Makes it hard to see them sometimes.

This works just fine for backgammon, but a couple of things that would make it better. One, the diagram to set up the game and the game board itself do not match the same color triangle on the game board. For example. In white's home the color of the 1 spot is white but the instructions show a blue/black triangle spot. Second, when collecting the pieces in the home terminal one by one, they don't stand up very well, or easily. We are constantly having to straighten the stack. Not a huge deal, but can be a little annoying. Overall it works fine.
