As long as your camcorder has the same thread size.

Q: Is this portable for travelling with AD 200 pro??

This would be too big to travel with. It’s pretty big.

Q: Does this work for the clamshell stand?

Yes, but the first stand I got was broken. The company replaced it with a second stand, but that was also delivered broken so I gave up at that point. It kind of works but the spring on the bottom is what is broken.
