Stormguard V-Seal White 5M Draught excluder Weather Proofing Seal self Adhesive Gap Filler Stormguard

I had gaps around my door that varied from 1mm to 8mm. Stormguard V-seal stopped the draught that was coming through the gaps. I think it should last well since it is made from a hard plastic material. It was easy to apply but be careful when removing the backing strip that you don't remove the double sided sticky tape as well - they are difficult to separate. Also be careful if you have any notches on the edge of the door, such as around the locks - if the V-seal catches on a notch when the door is opened, it will jam and rip the V-seal out.

I love this product and it succeeded in stopping the draught coming in around my front door, where the foam stuff failed because it doesn’t make a good seal if your door is uneven like mine which is wooden and slightly warped creating uneven gaps. It does take a bit of figuring out. But why in the name of someone beginning with J, isn’t there enough in one packet to go around a whole door?!!! It only did three sides. I’ll have to buy more. 😢 otherwise would have been 5 stars.

I replaced the old V seal that was installed many years ago. Finally it started to split and I replaced it with this. Installation was straight forward. Once stuck to the frame the V is folded back on itself. Once started, I used the handle of a scraper to continue the fold and press the adhesive tape hard to the frame. If I get another 10 years out of this one, it will probably see me out!

This was bought to stop draughts through an outside door. It was thicker than the gap so the door didn’t shut afterwards. The product works well on larger gaps.

This worked a treat on some very draughty doors to my attic eaves. Foam seals were too thick and the door wouldn't close, but these 'V' seals did a great job. Really easy to apply and seem to be working a treat!

We used this on the entrance door to our rented apartment. Rubbish door, we get constant heating oil fumes coming in during the winter, they go thru the whole house. We tried with different foam strips, and tubing. They worked fairly well but made shutting/locking the door very difficult and some smell still got through. This strip was easily applied, I've only done the lock side as that is our weak side. Finally no smell of oil or cigarettes getting through at all, and the door now shuts without slamming and locks without having to pull it. No sign yet of it coming unstuck. I can totally recommend this product.

a due mesi dall'installazione dura e non si rompe.. ma: è in PVC non morbido quindi fà rumore o si incaglia se lo spiffero non è uguale in tutti i punti (questo implica anche che in alcuni punti non riesce perfettamente a riempire lo "spiffero" fà bene il suo mestiere, deve essere installato non a battuta ma a taglio, il biadesivo è buono e ha una buona resistenza.

Ottime per sigillare porte e finestre. Forse potrebbe migliorare l'adesivo, ma comunque ottime! Ho risolto problemi di correnti d'aria in casa dovute agli spifferi!

Las he utilizado para que no entre polvo en las vitrinas. He colocado la parte que pega en una de las puertas, dejando la parte sin pega como protección entre las puertas, sin doblar. Así no se cuela el polvo. Eso sí tienes que tener en cuenta donde estás la parte que no pega para abrir siempre esa puerta primero.
