Sturdier and better-made than most, with good grippers. Nice enough that I bought 'em twice in multicolor pack.I prefer socks like this to slippers, regular socks, or casual footwear if I'm roaming around at home: They're grippier, less constraining, and cool in a nice-goofy way.

I give this a 4 star because of what I was expecting from the order. I was expecting all of them in the packet to fit and not slide down. They do grip the floor however my mother-in-law is a size 8 shoe with narrow feet.I got these so she wouldn't slide on our wood floors but the socks don't stay up on her skinny legs so the toes slide down as well. I have a issue with this since she is a fall risk. A lot come in the packet but they won't all fit the same.

Very stretchy so they don’t cut in on him, they are nice and sticky enough that I’m able to transfer my father in law from his bed to wheelchair.

While these are comfortable and slip-free, they shrink in the dryer, winding up too tight. If you want to dry them in the dryer, size up.

I just had bilateral knee replacement surgery and was advised in the hospital that double sided gripper socks are well worth the investment. My normal shoe size is ladies 10.5/11. I figured adding in the inevitable swelling I should order the XL size as opposed to the one size fits most (OSFM). A few reviews also indicated the socks ran small. I ordered the yellow in XL and they were too big for me. I reordered the OSFM in grey and they are great. They didn't twist on my feet, did add just the right amount of grip while using a walker, they machine wash/dry well, they keep my feet warm but not toasty, non-binding around my ankles, and the grey color doesn't show any discoloration from walking around in socks over various types of flooring. I am happy with my OSFM purchase and they have been a constant foot companion during my knee replacement recovery!Edit to my review: Do not put socks through the dryer as it makes the little grippy pads fall off.Final edit to my review (5/11/23): The grippy pads fall off even if you don't put the socks in the dryer. After 2 wearings there are little white foam pieces all over my carpet and floor. Looks like cat litter, but it's all the grippy pads falling off. I can no longer recommend these socks and strongly suggest you look for another alternative. So disappointing.

Purchased for an elderly man in a wheelchair. He thinks they are comfortable and not slippery on floor. He uses his feet to propel his wheelchair.
