Yes, they float, because wood floats! Lol I got these because we use organic raw honey, and metal spoons destroy the benefits of that. I had looked long and hard for these little guys and finally settled on these from Hefild. I'm glad I did. They are well made, and I like the light finish on them. I have no illusions that the finish on them will last forever, but that I will likely need to either was or oil them unless in time I want a natural wood finish to them, which I have done on my larger kitchen spoon. I also upgraded a bit and got the Acacia wood, because after researching a bit, it shows as a good, hard wood that will take the heat and the liquid. Paying a tiny bit more seemed a good idea. They arrived packaged in a cardboard envelope, that Amazon had then thrown into a light-weight unlined plastic bag, and I was worried on arrival they might be chipped or broken, but they were not. I debated on whether to get the larger sizes up from these, but I'm glad I stayed with the 6.7" because I think it's the perfect size for stirring the honey into my coffee or tea. I hand-wash and hand-dry, hoping to keep them looking nice for as long as possible! I'm very, very happy with them and I highly recommend them.

Wasn’t sure I would like these spoons but needed wooden spoons for use with honey. These are great and they clean up easily. Other ones I tried got stained easily when used with coffee or tea. These appear to not stain at all.

pretty bamboo spoons. light, polished, durable for expected use (its not a shovel, yall. its a bamboo spoon). very pretty. nice big bowls. nice feel. nice size.

We used these in a Trail Mix buffet, and wished we had gotten more of them! They are sturdy - too thick to use for eating, but attractive for serving or for hot drinks as described.
