Okay but...
I purchased this as a Christmas lights timer which and it did the job fine as they are low power LED. However the build quality reflects the price and it's a bit noisy and flimsy especially the on/off override switch which is difficult to operate. I would not trust it to switch high power loads such as an immersion heater or electric fire, it just doesn't look up to it in my opinion.

Installed it on my immersion heater and it does a good job of saving me money.
Was quite easy to instal but then I'm an electrician but not that complicated that a D-I-Y person couldn't handle it as long as they were careful with the connections. For the price, it will save me the cost of it in a couple of months

It is cheap and tacky but it has been doing the job so far.
I had an Electrician install this when he was servicing the boiler so I can't comment on the ease of installation. However, the timer is simple enough to configure. The inner clock which has two hands will not line up with the time on the outer clock. Neither the Electrician or I could figure out how to line up the inner clock with the outer clock or why it is really needed unless you care about the minute hand... The inner clock rotates at a different speed to the outer clock and it was just impossible to match the two together to display the same time. I've had it installed for a month and it has been turning on at the right time so it has been working ok so far...

DON'T Buy - Timer out of sync with clock
Poor quality. Outer dial timer (pins) is not aligned to the clock shown. This is a fundamental flaw. It keeps turning on the heater at random times. Only way to find if this is an issue is after installing it and powering on. An absolute waste of time!!

Very useful
We needed to replace the timer for our immersion heater and this was ideal

A Good Value Immersion Timer
This was the 2nd timer ordered as the 1st failed after a week and Amazon replaced no fuss, but now 50 weeks of constant switching has failed again, and not worth complaining as saved energy all this time, so have ordered same again and hoping my friend will install.
