Primal Vegan Jerky | Seitan - Thai Peanut Jerky | 14 x 28g

This used to be one of our favourite shopping day treats when we lived in London and had local vegan shops. Now we're lost in the rural wastes we appreciate being able to buy a multipack online occasionally. Very tasty and satisfying on their own as a snack, but they can also be chopped and stirred in to add protein, texture and flavour to store cupboard soup, tinned veg chilli etc. The Teriyaki and Hickory Smoked flavours are recommended too.

Bought these for my son, who is a vegetarian and very much into fitness and nutrition. He has said they are the best meat substitute snack he has ever had. He loves them.

This product is produced normally and a kosher/hallal version. (perhaps not readily known) I ordered based on purchasing the kosher/hallal version but was sent the non certified version. (The difference can be seen, but only by searching the wrapper for a small kosher certificate) Sent back and got refund but no apology. Having tried this before, the product is very tasty.

hard to chew on, disgusting , lingering after-taste

Yeah really not too tasty. Felt like chewing soggy rubber bands.

Very chewy, but so tasty! Excellent vegan protein.

Very tasty snack, with a good texture and very good macronutrient profile. Excellent for a high-protein snack while out and about, and I generally have one tucked into a coat pocket.

Been trying lots of different vegan snacks lately and this is probably my least favourite. It's a touch too wet, feels gooey and slightly disgusting and tastes quite artificial. It also does not really have "jerky" texture - it just rips apart like wet cardboard. There are much better options.
