They are very soft pastels just gently apply to create an intense colour. Love the feel and crispness when the pastel hits the paper. I have used cheaper brands and sennelier beats them all. Quality talks.

The pastels were soft and creamy and blended together well. I took one star off as 3 of the pastels were broken, despite the good packaging

This trail set is perfect for trying out these pastels before adding to your collection. They are lovely and I am sure that I will add Senneliers to my growing pastel pallet.

This is so useful. Strong saturated colour and easy to use. Only minor downside is that it draws like crayon, so if you want a smooth line you need some turps or linseed to smooth it out. I suspect they will gets lots of use.
