Danskin Girls' Gymnastics Solid Sparkle Leotard

This appears to be a nice, high quality leotard. Unfortunately, I don't think the cut will work for my daughter. This was slightly too large on top and slightly too small on the bottom. She would have to always wear shorts with it, or it would be too revealing. For reference, we got a size large 12/14. My daughter is 70 pounds, 4'9" tall, 25" chest, 21" waist, 27" hips, 49" girth. In shirts she wears size 10 or 12. In jeans she wears 12 slim.

I wanted to love this leotard. The color started out so vivid. It has a liner in the front, which is nice for kids like my daughter who need a little extra coverage. The fabric was thick.But the foil faded. Not just a little, a LOT, and that’s with washing it by itself on the hand wash cycle and hanging it to dry. Not just in places, but all over.

The silver leotard fits my daughter but it does run somewhat small HOWEVER that is what I needed for my tiny 3 year old. Be cautious though - the sizing is running all over the place with these. We have a pink, purple, and now this silver that run smaller but work for us. Had to return a red one and some of the printed/patterned ones b/c they were much too big however probably more true to size. My 3 yo is tiny for her age (tall/skinny). I'm not sure if there was an older version running smaller than normal and now they have made the sizing better b/c the pink and purple ones were purchased a few months back and the silver, red, and printed ones were recent. Silver one fits (runs smaller) and the others were too big. seems like luck of the draw. I may try the blue one but am a little worried it could be getting sent back too - there is no way to know. Thankful for Amazon to returns them with no problem (daughter never even tried them on - I could tell them were too big just by holding them up to the ones that fit her)!!

The medium was way too small for my tall 9 year old. The large looks like it fits ok, but it leaves marks on her from the elastic. She says it is comfortable and she wears it every time it is clean. The fabric is very attractive and I like the way it is cut at the top. There are some ripples in the back where it doesn't stretch tightly against her skin. I love the price and it seems to wash well.

This is great!! Perfect color, fit and material. Thick yet stretchy, my daughter says its very comfy. I bought a size 6, she is a size 6. I could have bought a size up for it to last longer because these gremlins grow so fast. Love love

Well it would have fit. But they sent me the wrong size. I didn’t realize it and my daughter wore it, because we didn’t have time to wait for a replacement. Then I had to order another. So now I have to pay for 2. If they sent the right size, it would have fit tts.It’s very pretty and shiny.

I wasn’t expecting such a “bikini” cut for a little girls Leo. My girls are both pretty thin (not much booty) but their cheeks Completely hang out and seem to have perma wedgie. If I put the bigger size on my younger daughter her crotch shows. Just a weird fit. Maybe it’s for older girls. Mine are 4 & 5.

My daughter has this leotard in several colors. They are only a few months old, however, some of them have lost color in strange patches, leaving only metallic-looking fabric. I washed them on cold and dried them on low so I think this has to do with fabric quality.

My daughter loved it
