Strivectin Glycolic Skin Reset Mask

Ive only been using this a couple of weeks (I'll update after the pack runs out) but so far so good.After the first use I did notice my skin looked and felt much smoother and brighter, and after a couple of uses this has held up - I cant say its dramatically "reset" my skin but its definitely helped it look fresher. In terms of effect, think "a week of good nights sleep and a bit of fresh air" rather than "have you had work done?". As I say though I'll update when Ive exhausted the pack to see if its any different.The mask itself is both lovely and horrible to use!Its a very thick cream which was both a totally different texture and much thicker than I was expecting. It smooths on well enough and "sticks" to your face, but it also "sticks" to your fingers as you apply it - like a lot of it, so it sort of feels a bit wasteful in that regard. I ended up smearing it all over my face and under chin, then what was left on my fingers, wiped off on my neck rather than adding more to use there.The peachy coloured cream sits on the skin rather than slipping or soaking in, so for the 5 mins of treatment you look a complete idiot, but I found it didnt irritate or sting so it was quite pleasant to use.The horrible bit comes in when you try to remove it. I should say now, horrible is probably a bit over the top, but it does NOT rinse off easily! Because its so sticky it probably took me about another 5 minutes to wash off, but after what I thought was a thorough rinsing, I looked in the mirror and there were islands of it all over my face. I found the only way to remove it completely was to use a flannel to wipe it off, then rinse my face to get any residue, then give it another sweep with the flannel.I have to say though, its probably worth the faff removing it for the fresh and soft skin youre left with after.

This cream is thicker than i thought it would be but at least you wash it off. That said, its pretty hard to rinse off. I did think my skin felt smoother after use though but i'm not sure if i'd buy this item owing to the cost and the other products that are on the market. Surely other Glycolic acid based products (which exfoliate and reveal smoother skin) might be cheaper? Still, this product is well made and seems to work.

A thick creamy mask that goes on easily and tingles. The instructions say leave for 5 minutes, I've left on for 10 without any problem, but I have robust skin. It definitely tingles towards the end of the time period.It washes off easily and feels taut afterwards and definitely needs a good dash of moisturizer. I can't say it has made a huge visible difference to my skin but definitely feels smoother.Strivectin contains Glycolic Acid, the most effective of the alpha-hydroxy acids (AHA), which loosens old skin cells allowing them to wash off easily revealing smoother younger skin underneath.If you are going somewhere sunny, you will need to use skin protection after using this product.I'd definitely buy again.

This skin treatment mask is excellent and does exactly what it promises. It is a glycolic peel that resurfaces the texture of the skin after five minutes of treatment. The results can be seen instantly, although the treatment is very mild. It is recommended for use at least once or twice a week, until the desired result is acquired and a sunscreen is recommended during and at least one week following treatment. I can high recommend this product because the results are gentle but immediate.

Contrary to other reviewers I found this very simple, both to apply and to remove. It glides on easily and I removed with water and two large cotton pads. In use there was a mild tingling but nothing of concern.Afterwards my face at first just looked slightly pink and much brighter. I felt it was dry though so I applied a particularly rich moisturiser. Almost at once my skin turned red. See photo. It calmed down over half an hour but I can see why they recommend sun screen after use. I would suggest two, rather than five minutes, for your first try though, just in case you have an extreme reaction.It definitely has made a huge difference to my face, fine lines have disappeared and I’ve a more youthful glow. The benefits are the same, or better, than the skin peel I had in a dermatology clinic and for a fraction of the price.

This mask is excellent at revitalising your skin. The mask is quick and you can feel your face firming up with each use. Yes it can leave your skin, especially around your eyes even with a good margin of error, feeling a little sensitive but the results are noticeable. I only use this product every other week to once a month to minimise the sensitivity to my skin, but even at that regularity it is effective. Your skin looks more radiant and youthful, and lines are minimised.

I've used this a handful of times, so can't comment on any long-term efficacy ... however ... I really do like this!It smells quite nice - not strong - and is the texture of a relatively thick cream. The instructions are a little confusing, as the box states 2 - 3 times a week, and the leaflet suggests once or twice. I opted for twice - or when I remember! My skin tingled a little, and the next day I had a little pink on my cheeks. I'm not surprised to see that both box and leaflet stress the importance of wearing a good SPF if using this product. It would be counteractive to not do so.My skin did feel soft both immediately after, and the next day - so I do believe that this does what it says.
