Ryobi Battery Tile Cutters Type LTS180M, 5133000154

What a great bit of kit for price, not had much hope with this as ive not been too impressed with Ryobi Planner and the circular saw is average. Got this after reading the reveiws and glad i did. It cut through 10mm porcelain tiles like butter, edges were clean and sharp, no chipping like a bench cutter i got. Works with compatible battery, but you do neet a big size one.It like using a circular saw on wood, at a slow feed of course, was able to cut some nice corners, Very impressed, a DIY tiler must have.

I used this cutter for large format tiles 600mm+ and it performed brilliantly. The cut was very clean with no chippage using a new blade.You'll need a work bench with a centre gully where the blade can cut with obstruction. I used a cheap Black and Decker worktop bench in conjuction with clamps to hold a straight edge guide in place.Suberb value for money.

Tbh, quite disappointed with its performance in cutting large porcelain 1200x300 tiles. Great control and would have been great if the blade was better quality as the supplied one gives a very chipped finish. Great idea for a tool though

I had an Ebauer table wet saw for cutting some large format tiles, 600x400, unfortunately this doesn't do a very tidy job of cutting slight angles, so I thought I would give the Ryobi a go, best £77 spent on a tool in a long time! I just clamped a piece of wood as my straight edge on the tile slowly tapering out to the end and ran the saw down, perfect, in fact I couldn't tell which was the manufactured side and which I had cut without looking closely. My only gripe, bottle is a bit leaky, but it will use about a third of the water on a 600mm, 9mm deep cut on Porcelain.Still this saved me a fortune in getting someone else to cut the tiles for me!Well worth the money!

Awesome little tile cutter, haven't used it on big project, but worked perfectly for DIY projects. Highly recommended.

Macchia funzionale ,ottimo il prezzo , il disco potrebbe essere migliore , viene data senza batteria e carica batterie , la uso per rifilsre le piastrelle in ceramica , dove non uso la taglia piastrelle manuale .Ottimo acquisto

Che l'articolo è arrivato senza batteria ......

È utilizzabile solo con piastrelle di ceramica o gres porcellanato sottile, gli spessori superiori a 5mm li taglia con molta difficoltà. La struttura metallica è molto debole e si arrugginisce subito, non riesce a tenere perfettamente in posizione e direzione per il taglio.Il motore ha pochi giri e non taglia senza speccature la piastrella, fatto con un flessibile si ottiene un taglio più netto e pulito. Il motore non ha una protezione per il surriscaldamento, infatti l'ho fuso.Il getto di acqua è poco modulabile e non si ferma a motore spento, infatti mi è capitato di trovare il contenitore vuoto per aver lasciato il rubinetto aperto.Per piccoli lavori è utile e non ci sono problemi di pericolo di corto circuiti o altro a ragione che è a batteria.Insomma, è un prodotto hobbystico d'altronde anche in base al prezzo non possiamo pretendere molto

Un peu déçu par ce produit de la marque ryobi. La puissance est suffisante pour couper le carrelage même pour un outil sur batterie. Par contre sans rail on voit assez difficilement le trait de coupe pour être précis et les batteries filent vites.Pour une coupe en fin de murs ou hauteur je préfère nettement un coupe carreaux classique. Par contre pour faire des ouvertures au milieu des carreaux c’est très bien mais là encore une meuleuse suffit. Au final un outil assez cher pas d’une grande utilité qui ne facilite pas forcément le travail
