We purchased these to replace the hard rubber ones that came with the chair.. The hard rubber kept cracking making the protectors useless. These are soft rubber with plenty of give to them. They are not think and I think a sharper edge chair left may eventually tear them, but since there are so many in the package it won't be an issue to replace them. they leave NO markings on our tile floor which is important. for the money this is a good value for chair leg protectors

We have hardwood floors and modern chairs with metal legs that taper to a 9/16” end, which is just a smidget above 1/2” (this is the popular Article Svelti chair). Unlike some other consumers who need a felt foot, we needed something that improved the GRIP between the chair and the floor, so that our small children can use the chairs and still be able to occasionally brace themselves against the table without sending the chair sliding backwards and their bodies tumbling to the ground.These feet are made of a durable vinyl material that provides just enough grip between the chair feet and our hardwood floors to make the chairs much safer! They have only a tiny bit of stretch, so you have to buy true to size; but I was able to get them onto our 9/16” chair legs. In contrast to many other popular and cheap silicone options (that are flask-shaped and rated for a larger range of chair foot sizes), the fit for these feet is very snug for the specified size. Thanks to this snug fit, these do not slide off or get pinched under the chair foot when you move or scoot the chair. They seem very durable and seem to stand up to heavy use. Would buy these again!!

I needed these tiny leg protectors to use on ... elevated cat beds! They fit perfect on the legs and now my carpeting has some extra protection. Have enough to use on another 2 beds - if I have to order more. Just like kids - each cat has to have their own bed. Just be sure to measure the bottom of the legs prior to ordering.

I have an older easy chair in my living room the dogs like to sleep on. When they jump onto it, it slides on my wood floor. I purchased these to help keep the chair stationary. Works perfect.
