Great backpack!
I had been looking around for a new backpack for about a month or so because the straps on the one I've had for about 4 years now were coming apart, and I needed something big enough to carry my laptop and a few books for school (I'm a college student!), but not too bulky in size or weight. The other factor was I needed the laptop slot to be big enough for my laptop (I have one of those big beefy gaming laptops!), and luckily enough the laptop compartment was large enough for it to fit (I did have to loosen the compression straps on the side when putting it in though). The backpack when unloaded is very light weight, and even with the load I carry on an average day (laptop, charger, books, etc) it still felt very light! The carrying strap on the top is nice because it's semi-rigid and is reinforced for extra strength. You can't go wrong with this backpack (one of my best buys here on amazon!)

Awesome backpack so far. Pockets galore! (7 month update)
7 month Update:12 roundtrips so far of carrying VERY heavy contents (work laptop+iPad+2 full water bottles+food+jacket+neck cushion) and I see no stitching issues at all. The padding for the shoulder straps and handle are an awesome touch. Still loving this bag.I bought this bag after seeing someone else with one at the airport. If you love backpacks with lots of pockets and compartments, this is a bag you should try out. It has a ton of places to tuck your belongings. I've counted 15 pockets/compartments in all. The zippers are really cool, they are hidden except for the pull fasteners. The padding on the shoulder straps and handles are heavy duty. Time will tell how durable this is but so far it's been great on my flights.

WEAK STRAPS!
First off, this backpack is simply one of the top 3 backpacks in terms of the bag itself. The zippers are nice quality, plenty of space (which is great for a college student who likes having all of their stuff for the day on their back). My old backpack could barely hold 3 of my books. This backpack can easily carry five of my textbooks. The problem that is ruining this backpack for me is the very poor strap design. With a bigger bag, bigger straps are needed. The reason the back pack is bulked up is too carry a large quantity of heavier quantity load. I haven't had the pack for even four months and the straps are already about to rip out. Yes, the straps themselves are heavy duty and feel solid but the way they are attached tho the pack was very poorly designed.I have the older version of this back pack and the straps are nice and wide (even though less heavy duty), but the wideness of the strap allows for more stitching which takes less load off each individual stitch. With this, they have a wider strap but then add in another smaller piece of material that is the connection point to the back pack. This puts too much stress on the connection point and now the straps are getting ready to tear off.If the straps can be redesigned, the backpack would be perfect, and I would gladly purchase it again.

Very nice backpack
I had to upgrade my old High Sierra TSA backpack after 5+ years that I loved and worked perfectly for me. I am quite satisfied with this backpack so far. Good pockets and compartments. I appreciate the extra padding in the laptop pocket as well as the bottom of the main compartment. Overall, I think a very good and solid backpack.

Comparable in features to the Victorinox and other serious travel ...
Comparable in features to the Victorinox and other serious travel products, it has lots of room, plenty of pockets for organization, and its quality and materials last a long time. This is the second TSA version of an High Sierra backpack I've had and the last worked well over 6 years and multiple hundreds of thousands of miles and hundreds of airport security lines. The only disadvantage I'd give this bag is that the cable handles, zippers, and construction materials make if fairly heavy, which adds up if you are carrying 1 or 2 laptops, cables, and accessories.

Good bag for travel, but certain components are flimsy.
Great bag for traveling. The extra pockets help organize everything properly. However, the plastic adjustment latches are not durable. Mine broke within the first few months of use. May end up going with a different brand when it comes time to replace.

Great back pack, poor zipper construction.
I love the storage compartments and comfort of carrying the back pack. It also attaches to my suit case great! Unfortunately, the zipper separated and it’s expensive to repair. I used it daily for 8 months and that was it. I am trying another because I like the layout and design so well.

Heavy but good.
I love the sturdiness of it and organization of the backpack. I thought I ordered the wheeled one but I still used it.Have a bad back and was to heavy for me to use. So it’s a good option for my husband while i rebuy the wheeled version.

Amazing quality
This backpack is perfect, feels strong, high quality materials, quite large(40L) and has many pockets. Everything you need for a backpack. Also it arrived in ~10 days.
