These are the best decodable readers for kids. My son is in kindergarten and it is amazing to have books at home that he can truly read as he learns new skills. Not only are they decodable, but they also all have a storyline. It is nice to read stories rather than lists of words! I simply watch for which new skills my son is learning and then work my way through the stages of readers accordingly. I am also a teacher. We follow the Science of Reading and these are perfect. Once my son works his way through the readers, I will eventually take them to school to use with my students there too.

I have been searching for decodable books that are 100% decodable AND that have substance/a storyline. These books will be perfect for my first grade students and for my daughters at home. I can’t wait to watch my students and daughters soar when reading books with words they can actually decode! I love, love, love these decodable books!

These decodable readers are fantastic! We love the images and storylines of these books. They are interesting to read, and a perfect size for my daughter to hold and see well. They aren't so small like the BOB Books. We love the diversity of the characters and how the books are decodable and not repetitive like some of the "leveled readers" I've seen. Get these books!!!

My first grade students and I are enjoying using the Charge Into Reading decodable readers. They are fun stories with colorful illustrations that keep my students engaged and practicing specific skills/sounds. I like the literacy activities at the end of each book as well. If you follow them on Instagram, you can also find additional resources they offer that are aligned to the book sets. So awesome!

These are so good! The illustrations are beautiful. I love that the characters are unique and diverse. My kindergartner and 1st grader both love reading these. The stories are interesting enough to keep their attention. The quality is top notch. These are definitely decodables you will want to have in your library.

I have been teaching first grade for 25 years and have been searching for books my students could read as they learned the code. I purchased this set to give it a try in my classroom. I am very impressed with the quality and the excellent use of the skills for each book. I have appreciated the extra practice these give my students with the sound spelling we are working on. There are also activities at the end of each book and word lists to practice at the front of the book. I went ahead and purchased enough sets for my small group instruction. Thank you so much for an excellent product.

This skill is very hard for my students to make, but these stories helped us tremendously understand them in a text, while still being very fun. My students talk about these stories outside of small group and want to read them independently as well!
