This is the best Fruit Fly trap!
They are easy just remove cap and place where they are the heaviest. We put one right in our fruit bowl and one on top of our trash can lid. It took a couple of days to work but as soon as they started going into the liquid we soon had no flies left! They do work great and are safe.

In 10 days only trapped one fruit fly using two traps
This is the first time i have given a one star review. I have been using the product for 10 days. On the first day i opened one trap and the next morning one fly was trapped so at first i felt good. But that is the only fruit fly caught. In the ten day period. So i decided to use the second trap too. In the ten days with two traps only one fruit fly has been trapped. In that ten day period i killed two flies by hand so i am twice as good as this product. I have seen the flies fly right around the trap and they flew right past the traps. I have tried different locations and still no captures. For me this was a total waste of money. I threw away the original package so there is probably no chance for me to return the product. In my oppinion I would not buy this product. Waste of money.

Two Stars
I think it's just apple cider vinegar. Open the cap and that is immediately what you smell.Update as of Jul 11, 2017 - So I've had these traps out for a little over a month now and I'm bumping up the review from two stars to three. Still not thrilled with the results but I'm probably slightly north of neutral. I count maybe 20 fruit flies in the two bottles combined (one upstairs, one downstairs). I still have the little buggers flying around and have caught almost as many with sticky fly paper, but these bottles have definitely caught some.

Simple & effective
I live in an older house near a bayou, so the summer really brings all kinds of bugs but the kitchen gnats have always been the hardest to get rid of !Then I discovered these and it was life changing! Super simple and easy to use - we just leave the top off and put it in our sink windowsill. It catches all of the pesky gnats ! I don't know why it took me so long to find these but they've made life so much more bug-free

Did not work for me
This product leaked in storage inside my cabinet. When I got it out to set it up the box was wet and the bottles were less than half full. I still set them out but no tiny flies were caught. I will stick with the red apple type.

Not what i was expecting
I had a suddem fruit fly infestation and couldn't get rid of them. I tried the apple cider vinegar traps and it workes but not fast enough. I start researching fruit fly traps and ordered this product based off reviews of how well others said it workef. It did not live up to the reviews at all! Many it worked immediately others said it took a day or 2 but worked for great. For me, day 1 was no difference. Not one fruit fly trapped. Enfs of Day 2 i finally saw a few fruit flies trapped. Day 3 was when it worked best. Alot of fruit flies got trapped and I thought it was finally working. After day it seemed to stop working. Almost as if the darn buggers are to smart and got wise to the fact that they were traps. I also have to add that they did work a little but i also still had out the vinager traps which seemed to have worked better. Id recommends trying a different product first. A week later and i still have fruit flies😡
