Immortal Prince: Age of Vampires, Book 2

Well that was mean. What a torturous end that was! However I do love how the story is unfolding and since this isn't my first twisted sisters rodeo I am going to wait this out! As compelling a story as any other I have read by this despicable duo lol

I recently finished the first book in this series and as soon as I finished it, I jumped straight into the second one. I didn’t even catch a breath in between.This book continues the journey of the twin sisters Callie and Montana. Callie is still trying to rescue her family from the blood bank where she believes they are being held while Montana accepts the dangerous task of spying on the royal vampires. Not only are Callie and Montana trying to risk everything to protect each other but they are also trying not to fall for their handsome and yet dangerous companions along the way.I am finding myself pleasantly surprised by this series. ‘Immortal Prince’ is well structured and weaves together the past and present. In this book, as well as Callie and Montana’s POVs, we also have POVs from Erik and Magnar, which are set in the past and give us a much better understanding of the history between the two of them. The storyline is unique, the characters are strong and there is a nice balance between tension, fun, drama, loss, love, hate and passion.I am really enjoying this series so far and have jumped straight into the third book.

Loving these books .. on to the next love the storey so far .. love the characters it’s got me hooked

Absolutely don’t know where to start, fuming the book has ended, thrilled at learning I only have to wait a week for the next instalment…..!!!Loving this series so far, absolutely everything you could ask for, really well structured storytelling which weaves together the past and present. Love the characters and the tension, nice balance of love/hate/passion. Cannot wait for book 3, Caroline & Susanne you absolutely never let us down with your stories!!!

I can't explain how obsessed I'm becoming with this series. Why haven't I read this before?!I love the sisters equally. Both have intriguing storylines.I'm really enjoying the addition of the POVs of Erik and Magnar. These are set in the past, but give us, the reader, more of a back story of what has happened.I really want Montana to give in more to her desire for Erik, but I think she'll get there in time.Cali and Magnar had some brilliant moments in this book and I've got a feeling it's only going to get more intense in the next book.

Slow read but I am living for Erik and Montana. There is a seen in the club, with drinks, that will live in my head rent free.

I'm absolutely loving the revamp of this series! This picks up where the previous book finished. It gives more information about the history of the vampires and slayers, but still leaves many questions! I cannot wait to keep reading more about Montana and Erik, he's my new book boyfriend! This book definitely brings the emotions in the author's style, as well the author's classic world building, tension between characters and discrete mentions of their other works. I would definitely recommend giving this series a try, you won't regret it!

Review: Immortal Prince 👑By Caroline Peckham & Susanne ValentiI knew before I started this series that it would take me out of my HEA comfort zone and still I could not help myself. Though my anxiety is now raging and waiting for book 3 (due out November 28th), I enjoyed every page.The dystopian dark fantasy is both savage and brutal, giving the occasional hint of Hunger Games vibes with regards to the realms and their comparison to the elite upper society. It continues where book one leaves off and further develops both the characters and the world in which they live. You just can’t help but get sucked 🩸 right in.Montana & Erik create enough tension to start fires while my heart has been left bleeding for Magnar - I just can’t cope 🙈#teamMagnarThis series is definitely worth a read. I enjoyed this book and it was a page turner for sure!!! I still like it’s a little whiplash to go back and forth between the 2 stories but I am getting used to it.

I'm just saying, this book starts out with by far the BEST dedication I've ever seen in a novel to date 🤣That being said, I literally devoured this book at the speed of light. I honestly finished it in about 3 sittings and immediately bought the 3rd book upon its completion.My only complaint: I wish there were WAY more chapters that featured Erik.I would say Erik is probably the character with the most interesting back story, but he doesn't get nearly enough time being featured in this book (in comparison to the other 3 main characters.) But that's just a minor personal complaint 🤷🏻‍♀️ This book was an awesome read and I will definitely be reading it again.

Um, I still love the slayers more than the vampires 😄Man, that cliffhanger... there is going to be so much angst because of it. And, I am here for it all.

Loving this series and so looking forward to the next book. The banter,angst,tension and passion between Montana and Eric and Callie and Magnar is brilliant and the story is intriguing with each page turned bringing to light more mystery and more drama. So very,very good!!!!!

So this book was more intriguing than Book 1, there was a lot more action, angst, spice, but the plot seems to be all over the place. They’re telling multiple stories at once, the past of multiple people and the present of multiple people. There’s just a lot going on, however I can see how they are setting us up for something big so I’m holding on
