The media could not be loaded. Audio quality is comparable to the higher-tiered mics like the Ulanzi AM18 and DJI wireless counterparts. Easy to sync and it can be used with usb-c, lightning and any devices with a high 3.5mm audio jack. The only downside is the volume is on the lower end and the receiver needs to be charged and powered on, in addition to the transmitter, which can be quite a hassle. Hence, a four star.

THIS is the product I've been wanting! It is a lavalier Mic that works with a single receiver that can be configured to work with USB-C (Android) or Lightning (Apple) or a 3.5mm TRS connector that can plug into pretty much anything else!This multi-configuration magic is done by swapping the connector pod to match the target connection. On the back of the black bodied receiver module is a blue slider lock that holds one of the three connector pods in place. Simply slide and hold the blue lock outward and slide out one connector pod and replace it with the other one that matches your needs and boom! You're all set!Unlike most other wireless lavalier mic systems that have a dedicated Lightning or USB C port, which power the receiver from the device to which it is attached, this receiver module has a built in battery (recharged through the USB C port) which powers it. That batter is the key "secret sauce" that makes it possible for one receiver unit to be configured for all THREE connectors! Because the 3.5mm TRS connector does not include a power input option, (unlike the USB C or Lightning ports) the battery supplies the power for the receiver module to output the audio signal on the TRS connector!Bottom Line: 5 stars (only because I can't give it SIX!)The BOYALINK A1 kit I received has a cloth bag to keep all of the bits in when you're not actively using them, along with a USB-A to dual USB-C charging cable, and a furry "wind shield" that snaps onto the wireless lavalier mic to help minimize the wind noise.Unfortunately the images I see on the Amazon product page don't include one that shows the details of changing the connector pod. It does show the TRS pod attached to the receiver as well as the USB-C connector pod and the Lightning connector pod, but from the photo I thought it was an adapter that slipped over the TRS connector. NOPE! The whole connector pod is swapped out to change the connection! NOW it makes sense!

Such a great microphone system. I had a different one and it quit working unexpectedly so I had to find a newer model and version. I love using this to make my makeup videos, and this system outbeats my old system hands down. I found it very easy to set up and the sound quality is pretty good. This Lavalier can be used with either IOS or Android so I was pleased that this is offered in both platforms. Using this mic can take a minute to figure out when compared to other less expensive mics. It had noise reduction that works really well. It also has on board gain control, which means that if you have audio levels visible on your app or camera, you can adjust the gain on the fly, which can really save your audio. With my Osmo Action3 I set the gain to the middle on the mic and 0 on the action. I had great audio. With my phone (Moto Stylus G) I set the gain to 4 or 5 and get really good clean audio that isn't too hot or too low. The Noise reduction works well in my car and decreases all the road noise and car noise- I can have the heat on! It doesn't leave any weird audio artifacts and generally sounds great.With both my phone and the osmo action my voice sounds clean and clear, and normal. Not too high and not too low, pretty much like I sound in person.Not gonna lie I was hoping the BoyaLink would be as good as all the other Boya products I've heard about and it surpasses my other wireless lavaliers by leaps and bounds.I only with this came with a protective hard case for the single mic. I hate leaving mics flopping around without protection, they are delicate, but this one seems pretty tough. I picked up a cheap eva case to put it in. Works great.

Phenomenal audio quality. This wireless system comes with adapters of every kind. So if you have Apple, Android or whatever… they got you covered.I have had this connect to both my iPhone and iPad. The audio I got on the video recording is top notch. I was surprised, but obviously pleased. I highly recommend this mic. Only “con” is, it comes with only one lapel mic and not two… but what a great mic.
