This bench vise is a great value. It is the perfect size for my needs and appears to be a quality product. Everything works well and mechanically it is smooth. I like the magnetic plastic jaw protective inserts. For the weekend handyman, this will be money well spent!

Perfect size for small projects

I have used this vice several times now and I really like it. This vice does the job for all my projects. In the past I was using vice grips to hold objects down to the table. And the magnetic rubber inserts keeps the vice from scaring items locked in the vice. Just perfect.

My fiancé can be rough on tools and such but this has held up to daily use and the best part is I don’t have to deal with his grumpy tush when he inevitably breaks the thing that he’s been working on. The vise itself is very sturdy and has taken all the use and abuse he could possibly throw at it. The only reason for 4/5 stars are the magnetic pads had the magnets exposed and as many people know magnets are notoriously brittle; the magnets on the pads snapping onto the vise was enough to shatter the magnets to smithereensBut some good ole electrical tape fixed it in a Jif

Great for the price

Vise works as should however, the magnetic covers to protect item are absolutely useless!!! These were reason that I bought it but they fall off constantly! Would not buy again.
