High Quality
This clock is very high quality. The pictures almost make it look cheap, but it's actually quite solid. I had never purchased anything from this brand before, so I had no idea what to expect. The screen is bigger than it looks in the pictures. When you press the button, the backlight is not too bright in the dark (it doesn't hurt your eyes). The controls are easy to use and the manual is well written and easy to understand. Do read it first, though, because it has some important instructions. All you need to do is specify the time zone, press a search button, and the time and date sets itself. The thermometer is accurate in comparison to another digital thermometer in the same room. It's accurate to the decimal amount. Right now both thermometers say it's 69.4 degrees in this room. It takes 2 AA batteries and the solar panel just helps to extend the battery life. In other words, this clock cannot run on just the solar panel. I am very pleased with this purchase. I would recommend it as a desk clock, or your bedside alarm clock.

Unusual use in a golf cart.
This is a recent purchase. I like to wait a few months before a complete review but Amazon prompted me so here goes. I use it in an unusual way. I have it in my golf cart. Above my head in a tray soI can see the time temp while driving in the golf cart, As you can guess it is rather a rough ride on a golf course that is why I would like to wait and see but it has been holding up well for the last month. What I like is that it easy to read compared to the previous one I was using. Had to be a little creative attaching it to the tray above my head as it is not intended for such location but some Velcro a board and some screws did the trick. So far no negatives but I will update In a few months

It was easy to setup for the most part.
My biggest complaint was that it takes a while for it to sync in with the Atomic Clock in Colorado. I had to manually set it up and then leave it near a South facing window to get the sync started. I deliberately increased the time by about 5 minutes in order to see if the clock would adjust itself to the correct time. It finally did.And now it seems to work pretty well for me. I don't use the alarm feature as I don't need it. For the price, and all things considered, I think it's a good buy.

A little big for a travel alarm, but great for a desk clock. Temp and Humidity feature handy
Nice clock. Feels solid, doesn't seem hollow or cheap. Right for the price. It's a hair too big for an ideal travel alarm for me, but great desk clock. The numbers are big and easily readable. I have a photo here with a normal size tiny travel clock I also bought at the same time. The little one has temp, but not humidity, and isn't solar. I have guitars, so I have to keep an eye on the humidity, so the humidity feature is great, not many clocks have it. Temp seems accurate too. The solar feature is an added bonus. I've had it for 3 months, and haven't replaced batteries. Overall, I'm very pleased with it and would buy again if I wanted another small desk clock.

I want to like this clock but...
So I have had a solar-powered clock that has traveled the world over with me. It's been really great. But after years of drops and falls, it was coming apart. So I looked at this clock thinking it would be my travel/home clock for the next 20 years. The display is nice. It's fairly easy to read, and has a lot of information readily available. So why do I only rate this clock as one star? Well, it comes down to two main factors:1. This clock is tall and narrow, which means it gets knocked over...a lot. My old clock was wide and short, which meant it was very stable, even on a rickety table. This clock falls over (sometimes very loudly) with the tiniest nudge. It has already hit the floor a few times as well when the cats walk by it.2. Buttons are hard to find and utilize. Setting this clock isn't the easiest. They put four small buttons on the back, so if you want to set the alarm, you have to pick it up and turn it over, turn on a light to see the buttons, make the changes. My old clock at least had the buttons on top and were apart so you could easily turn the alarm on/off. This clock you have to reach around and fumble around until you find the right button. I also don't like the feature that allows you to select between alarm on/snooze on with alarm. Just give me a simple on/off button. So because of these two issues, I would NOT recommend this clock to other buyers.

So far so good!
So far so good. The small battery operated desk clock I'd had for more than a decade finally gave up the ghost last week and I was lost without it. This clock was more $$ than I really wanted to spend, but it had all the features I wanted - day, date, temperature, humidity and, of course, the time. Setting my old clock had always been a problem - tiny switches and buttons and print so small I could NEVER see what was what - so I was curious about the automatic set feature and I must say it works great. And I love the big numbers which make it very easy to see the time. In all I think it was a great purchase and look forward to many years of excellent time keeping.

unreadable A\.M P. M. indicator
A. M. Alarm Time Indicator is super unreadable small even though there exists plenty of space to have it large The alarm is very load from the onset even though it is supposed to be a progressively louder feature.
