baought for my grandson and used it in the car second one. worked about 2 weeks and quit

I did have to drill holes into it because the headrest is not universal. Otherwise absolutely solid product keeps kiddo happy for long car drives.

Would not play MP4 videos created on my GoPro Hero 9 or videos I encoded. I also believe the display is 720 and not 1080. It had no issue playing DVDs.

We love this dvd player. It has been the perfect addition in our car for our toddler. We love that it mounts to the headrest instead of a strap around the headrest. The sound is great quality. It has saved us on many roadtrips!

Used for maybe a month and did not work well. Would not read disc and said NO DVD.

Update: The manufacturer's customer service team reached out to me and offered me options to make my experience with them better. Even though there were issues with the item I received, it turned into a great customer experience due to their customer service after the purchase. I would recommend giving their products a try. ======= The negative: The HDMI output didn't work. Using a known good HDMI cable and TV, only the sound made to the TV. There was no video to the monitor. (On further reflection, this may have been due to me using a 25' HDMI cable instead of a standard 6' cable.) The viewing angle is also very limited. Looking at the screen from an angle distorts the colors and look terrible. There is NO BATTERY even though the product title includes the words "Car Charger". The mention that there is no battery is is easy to miss in the lengthy product description. Neutral Observations: The product is light, but it feels like it could break easily. The positive: The sound was good. The video quality (when looking directly at the screen) was good. The DVD I used to test it with started quickly.

I have to travel often with the family and go through many areas that do not have good cell coverage. I decided to go back and time and get a DVD player for the kids. Thrift stores have huge libraries of DVDs for a dollar so I thought this would be a good idea. What makes this item extra nice is that you can put movies on a flash drive, and they will also play on the device. I have tried other items similar to this one, but they couldn't play downloaded movies that weren't recorded at a very low quality. This player will play modern downloaded movies AND thrifted DVD's!
