Absolute Necessity in our House!
Love this stuff! I started getting it initially for washing our yoga mat towels that we use for HotWorx.. I just add a scoop into our machine with the load. It got out towels clean and removed that lingering odor from workout cloths without using harsh chemicals that break down the cloths. We still use laundry soap as our machine automatically dispenses it. I have since started using a scoop or half a scoop on our daily cloths as well. We don't use fabric softener, just vinegar, but our cloths always come out clean and smell clean without potent fragrances to mask it.

Works well on cat urine and baby pee/poo
I have 2 spayed cats and a 5 month old. One of them kept peeing on our kitchen mat in protest of the baby when she used to not ever act up. So I had to constantly wash it. No detergents got rid of the funk besides this one. I usually use unscented arm and hammer and that's it but it wasn't enough for the bio funk. It also gets rid of baby pee and poop really well in one hot wash for clothes that were subjected to blowouts lol.

Been using for 2 years, it's my favorite!
I've been using this detergent for a couple years now and it is my absolute favorite! I use the unscented one and even though I was a little skeptical that my clothes would still smell after washing them with it, I have never once had bad smelling clothes. My husband and I both have sensitive skin, so I tend to buy the unscented, non-toxic versions of most cleaning products to avoid chemicals and fragrances. It's super easy to use, I use one scoop per load. I have it on a subscription purchase for every 3 months, lasts longer than other detergents I've used. The detergent gently cleans my clothes and removes all odors. Keeps my clothing and towels soft while getting rid of dirt and stains. I lived in an apartment with hard water for about 6 months and used this detergent the whole time. It continued to do it's job, even with that obstacle! I also love that it is plant based and biodegradable!

Keeps the teenage stink away
Rockin' Green isn’t just a detergent—it’s a miracle in powder form. If you’ve ever dealt with the infamous teenage stink (you know the one), this plant-based, all-natural detergent is your new best friend. Somehow, it manages to tackle the combination of gym socks, forgotten-in-the-backpack hoodies, and general teen funk with ease, and it's vegan too! No harsh chemicals, no overwhelming perfumes—just fresh, clean clothes that no longer make me wonder if I’m living with a wild animal. I can finally fold laundry without holding my breath! If you’re battling teenage laundry, trust me—Rockin' Green is ready for the challenge.

The absolute best cloth diaper soap!
The quality of this product is unmatched! I have used it for many years cloth diapering many children and it never has let me down. Tried to go to a cheaper non-fragranced soap and nope it made the diapers terribly unusable. So if you’re looking for a solid tried and true diaper soap that you can use to wash diapers as well as strip if they need a bit more soaking this is your soap. Don’t use the commercial free and clears, red box or any of the others people recommend - they ruin the diapers and are just harsh! The key here is making sure the soap dissolves properly - I luckily have a Speed Queen washer and I put the soap in the bottom turn on the hot water wash to dissolve it and start filling the washer. Once’s it’s pretty full and sudsy I open the washer, toss in the diapers and give them a 30 min or so pre-soak. Run a wash with extra rinse and it’s seriously great how clean they come out. No ammonia or barnyard smells with this soap.

Love this stuff
Love this stuff! It works exceptionally well to soak garments to remove scents from thrift store finds. Also works well to remove pit stains.

I was skeptical, but this saved our diapers!
We've been cloth-diapering for just over 14 months, we use a mixture of Fuzzi Bunz and Bum Genius pocket diapers and some BG all-in-ones (the BEST if you ask me). I saw the RnG in a specialty shop before my son was born and thought it seemed like an awfully small package and decided to pass it up. Until recently, we've been washing our diapers in regular detergent. I'm not loyal to any one brand, I just prefer unscented, as natural as possible, and then whatever is on sale. This seemed to work out okay until my baby was about 6 months old, then I noticed his diapers had started to reek even when they were just wet. I had had to stop nursing and start formula, which I think stinks quite a bit just on its own, so I thought that could be the issue. We were having terrible problems with leakage, too, he could barely make it half an hour without pee soaking through to his pants, but again I assumed maybe his urine output increased because he was getting more at each feeding with formula. But the problem persisted after he turned a year old. I started Googling "stinky cloth diapers" and learned all about the evils of detergent buildup and using the wrong detergent/amount/method for diapers. It just so happens that apparently All Free and Clear is awful for diapers because it contains a brightening agent that builds up on fleece. Go figure, this was the most recent detergent I had purchased. I tried several times to strip my diapers and started washing them in just baking soda. They still had a musty funk when they came out of the dryer. I thought I had ruined my expensive diapers for good. And for all the glowing reviews I read of RnG, it was the few negative ones that made me nervous. It would be just my luck that it wouldn't work for me. Then I couldn't decide between Funk Rock or Hard Rock. I went for the hard rock and did an overnight soak with it before going to just regular washing. I will say that the magic wasn't instant. I still detected a faint musty smell after the soak and the first few washes. But now not only is the smell totally wiped out, the diapers and liners are softer and fluffier and brighter than they were before. They were getting to be a little dingy with the regular detergent. For the record, I have a top-loader, nothing fancy, I live in an apartment and it came with the unit. I run a cold cycle with no soap, then a hot cycle with a cold rinse (my machine only lets me rinse cold) with 2 tbs of Rockin' Green. My diaper loads are usually small to medium but I set my washer for a large load for the most water. Sometimes I do another soap-free cold cycle after but usually stopping after the hot wash is fine. Then I tumble dry low. This stuff is amazing, don't write it off if you don't notice an immediate difference. And it's a small package but I was surprised by the heft it had to it, and at 2 tbs per load, it'll last a while. Plus if you only use it for diapers...well, we were down to once it twice a week but now we have two in diapers so we wash about every other day if not every day.

Powerful Detergent for the littlest of people
To be honest, I didn’t do too much research when finding a cloth diaper detergent. Amazon was as far as I researched and this was one of the top options. Now I can see why. This product is powerfully effective but has clean ingredients that I don’t have to worry about. It comes with a a scoop to measure out the detergent. It’s not scented and doesnt leave a residue on the diapers or the machine. I highly recommend this to new mamas on their cloth diaper journey.
