Great tool! Worked just as expected. I found it to be good quality. Used it to coil threads for a water pump. Drill bit and tap held up well and still have plenty of use in them. Handle and punch worked great! I would recommend this for anyone needing to coil some funky threads! Will recommend, would but again.

The coil kit worked perfectly for my need. I had a broken valve cover bolt in Kohler 25hp zero turn engine. Was able to first drill/grind out the hardened bolt, then drill and tap for the 6mm coil insert. Everything went back together perfectly. Thanks.

Coils are of decent quality stainless, tails break away as they should without distorting the last coil.. the tap and drill are spot on as far as sizing.. easy to setup and use.. the coils are short, so if you need a longer thread purchase be sure to get a kit of longer coils.. well worth the money for what it is..

Worked well to install new thread in my aluminum engine block. Audi vacuum pump bolt holes strip after shockingly low torque (>7 ft lbs). Tool several tries to get the tap started but after it finally caught, it did it's job. the tip of the tap has a slight taper but doesn't cut, so it's difficult to get into bite. My main issue is the coil driver. The groove is too deep, which means you need a deeper holeYou may want to trim this. The handle is too long for tight spaces, you can get away with shorter. The long tips of the driver bend easily inside the workpiece.I did get my job done, they held 7ft lbs no problem after completion.

save the little money you was going to buy this with they arent worth the cheap price remember you get what you pay for if you want the real deal that works spend the money for the high quality brand name Helio Coil kit this thing broke the first time i used it the metal is so soft and the helio coils there self are like springs they strecth not like a real helio coil its solid after getting the coil in i couldnt even get the screw all the way in cause the coil twisted inside the hole i had to pry the installtion tool out cause it did that so moral dont go chinese cheap get the real deal buy the extra money
