KOHLERK-28821 PureWash E930 Elongated Bidet Seat with Remote Control - White

I'm doing a bathroom renovation and wanted to try out the new seat. So it's in a rough setting but I wanted to see how it works too. It is a slim nice fitting seat. Not as bulky as some I've owned in the past. I'm having an issue though trying to set the user functions but can't seem to get them to work. I've many times to no avail. I set them up and next time I try to use it the preset function doesn't work for me. There is a night light but it only works when the seat opens so in the dark you don't have a light to see the toilet. All the functions do work fine if you hit them individually but it is sort of has a steep learning curve in order to use it. Also, the supply hose is way too long so I have to bunch it up to hide it behind the toilet. I don't think anyone's toilet is four feet away from the supply. I've owned others that were cut and pushed to fit installation that made it much more aesthetically pleasing. The fittings though are all high quality chrome plated brass fittings. There should also be an isolation valve for the seat so I can turn it off if there's a problem but will still be able to flush toilet. So that is a big disappointment. The installation directions worked fine but the user directions were not great. I will say that all the features are fantastic but the preset user features just don't work the way I hoped. I expected a lot more from a big name like Kohler especially at that price point.

This is one amazing bidet seat. There is nothing bad to say about this item. Once you try it you will never want to go back to a regular toilet seat again. I am very impressed how they pack all these features into such a low profile bidet seat.

This is my first bidet and I love it so far! I ended up having a plumber swap out my rounded toilet for a elongated one so that I could use this bidet. The instructions to install seemed simple enough, but the plumber ended up installing it for me, so I can't comment on installation.I'm still learning this bidet. There are a huge number of settings once you download the app and program it. The remote has fewer options than the app. The app is a work in progress from what I can tell. There was an update today that supposedly added features and the app worked at first after the update, but now it's saying that the device is offline. There are no instructions or ability to reconnect the app though. This wouldn't be an issue if the remote had the same options as the app. The app has settings to make the seat and water hotter than the remote. I was also able to use the app to change the auto-open function, so that the toilet lid doesn't automatically open itself. I'm really excited for when the app issues get straightened out. I will update my review once the app is in a better state.The bidet itself is great. There are plenty of customizations for water intensity and positioning. I feel clean after using this bidet! It's only been a few days and I don't want to go back.I still have to use some toilet paper because the dryer is slow, but my friends with bidets have all said the same thing. The dryers just aren't fast enough to dry completely and a super fast dryer pointed up in that way actually doesn't sound sanitary when I think about it.I have been using the remote to open and close the lid. When I had it in the auto-open mode, it was really quick to open when I got close to the toilet, so if you want the auto open feature, it's perfect. The nightlight automatically turns on when the toilet opens after dark. The nightlight illuminates just the bowl. I assume this is a feature that those who stand to use the toilet appreciate more than those who sit.I absolutely love the heated seat! I turned it up to its highest setting using the app and it's wonderful in the winter. I noticed in the app that there is a setting to have the heated seat and water adjust based on the room temperature, but I like being toasty, so I turned both up and the auto adjust off.Overall, I recommend this bidet to those who enjoy being early adopters. I will update the review after the app has been perfected. The price seems really high, but when comparing it to other models, the features are superior, so it seems like it's likely worth it if you want every possible feature.

It took us a bit to get this installed because we got it around the holidays and needed an electrician to add an outlet to our bathroom to make this usable. Once the outlet was installed, the bidet installation was fairly painless. We are happy with the many features, though we have not tried them all yet. I think it is pretty pricey for what it is but we are happy with it thus far.

I installed this on a Kohler Veil wall mounted toilet that already had all the necessary power and water connection provisions ready for a bidet seat. This seat was not complicated to install mainly due to the fact that we had anticipated the possibility that a bidet seat could be installed. The hardest part was having to remove the toilet and route the power cord behind the China bowl and them reinstall the bowl.This bidet is definitely well-designed and we are very pleased with it's features and performance. It's one of those things that now that we've used it we don't want to be without again. I like that it came with a printed, detailed user guide that that clearly explained how to use the features.While we are immensely pleased with the bidet, I can't say the same for the App. I felt the installation process was a bit tedious and asked for too many permissions. It required me to set up an account to even use it. And then all that only to have issues with actually getting it to work. So far we haven't and are not using it right now. App issues aside, we are very happy with the bidet.

Very impressed with this bidet! I had a cheaper one before and was missing out! This is better than what I could have hoped for. Heated is always right on temperature and functions are user friendly.

Kohler is a high end manufacturer of plumbing materials. The finish is beautiful and works very well. We have a toddler so we have not introduced him to the cleaning process. We are afraid once that happens he will make a mess. But it works perfectly. We suggest a plumber just because you don't want to make a mistake on this install. The water temperature is fully adjustable. This is a luxury item but makes for a conversation piece. The price is a bit high if you aren't fully appreciating a bidet. The most wonderful clean experience. 😍 We highly recommend this for anyone who wants a high end bathroom.

I had it installed but when I removed the bidet for cleaning, i found it hard to put back on. I tried all night but could do it as the two locks on the side didn’t lock the seat in place.I looked at the manual and noted the trick is to mount the two tabs at the bottom of the seal to the slots of the mounting plate first before tilting down the seat and lock. I must say the operating manual is not very clear and explicit about this. I also have the manual puretide as well and the mounting is way easier - just sliding that in.Another thing I don’t like is the motion sensor auto cover open function. It is a good function but it can open the cover but not the seat. If you are a man wanting to pee you either need to sit OR press the seat button to lift the seat. And press it a couple of times!! Not very friendly for male user!!
