Q: What is lengt of the drain when fully extended from the center?

Length adjusts from 13 inches at its shortest to 19.5 inches at its longest. Width is 14 inches wide. Allow 1.5 - 2 inches depth of silverware container if hanging inside of drainer, otherwise can hang to drain to outside if draining in a 2nd sink or have a tray under the drainer.

Q: Other reviewers complain of poor drainage and leaking, is this a one off or have others been having this problem?

Poor drainage is probably a fair statement. I haven’t had a problem with leaks. I like this product. It’s not prefect, but it’s functional. Hope this helps.

Q: Is it possible to extend it only part of the way? My counter is not long enough for the full extended length

Yes, you can easily slide it out part way. I have to stop mine about an inch from full because of our counter top length too.

Q: Is the color bright white or more of an off white?

The color is more of a chalky white than a pure snow or bright paper white.
