Sakura Mochi Traditional Japanese Wagashi Sweets

I've had several sakura-based mochi from various companies - small batch, small busines vs. larger corporate businesses - and for the price I find this product to be delightful. I've bought it several times now and it's never expired. I will say if you are gluten intolerant it's safe for consumption. If you have Celiac Disease, it is not as there is millet in it and there is a risk of cross contamination since it's not made a gluten free dedicated facility. Overall, I will continue to purchase it. I love it chilled in the fridge. It takes on a chewier texture. Oh and it takes like authentic sakura and is very flavorful. I'm sensitive to sugar so for me it's plenty sweet and flavorful.

I don't know what it is about these, but they're addicting. I love the taste of them, I only wish there were more but I guess that aids to the quality over quantity concern. The color is VIBRANTLY pink, and they're hardly stale. They're very sticky, almost to the point you might need some more powder to pick them up. There's no filling in them and they're about 2" wide with a little puff on top in terms of size. I unfortunately gobbled them all down mercilessly and they didn't survive the night. I wish there was a bigger bulk pack.

The product itself didn’t quite look like it does on the package, however that’s the only complaint I have and not one worth demoting a star from! The color is pretty, the chewiness is fun, and the taste is amazing!! It smells lovely, and the taste matches the subtle floral aroma. Definitely recommend this to anyone who loves mochi.

There are fewer than 10 pieces in this bag, so each very small piece costs over a dollar. As a big mochi fan spoiled by access to fresh and authentic mochi after living in SF, I found this kinda gross, personally. It was harder and sweeter than mochi should be. Considering it's a real Japanese product, I assume this is because it's a ultra junk food version of mochi with a long shelf life. I won't be buying it again, but I think some people would like it. It's just too much like candy, it reminds me more of a gumdrop than it does of mochi.

I've been wanting to try some authentic mochi so I took a chance on this and I'm SO glad I did! This was nothing short of heavenly. The flavor is very subtle and delicate. The texture is EVERYTHING ❤️❤️❤️! Only con that I can think of is I wish they weren't quite so expensive and maybe a little more in the bag. They're individually wrapped. Despite the price I will definitely be ordering these again. I don't know how the one person that gave them a bad review didn't love these...Don't hesitate to buy these, they're absolutely wonderful!!😍

These are a little rich, so I can't eat a lot of them, but they're the exact mochi-ness that I've been looking for. That being said, I eat very low sugar sweets, so rich for me might be different.

Some of the softest, most delicious mochi I have tried. Smells divine and has a beautiful floral taste. Perfect size and very fresh.

These are not filled mochi but very tasty and well made. It's a delicate taste, similar to rose Turkish delight but not as sweet and a little more chewy than gooey.
