Perfect for high quality solar use . Professional device .purchased solar package for survalance system and had cheap unit made out of plastic that failed . Replaced with this worth the money.

Higher priced and not as convenient as a few other options I've used for my PoE devices. The power in to this device isn't ideal - I wish there was a different connection. However, this did help get some additional power to a place that I couldn't get PoE to in the past with my prior setup.

Got this for our work staff. Great product so far.

Use it in my truck to connect to sites without dragging cat5 through a bunch of mud.

I used this to power two outdoor wireless devices; a wireless bridge and a wifi access point. This eliminates the need for individual power injectors per device. In the photo, it's the far right device. Keep in mind that there's 4 ports with passive POE power that cannot be used for regular devices. Only the uplink can plug into another device or switch.

This switch works very well. I just don't like the open power in block. I would prefer a different type of connection for power in. Does not come with a power supply.

Very solidly made. The metal casing is fantastic and very heavy duty. Mounting is a breeze. All advertised specs are correct, and this bad boy has some oomph. No overheating. No weird noises. No issues what so ever.

This is a great switch with a metal case ready for mounting. The PoE makes it easy to connect PoE enabled devices such as routers or cameras. I've been using it in conjunction with my non PoE network and it is working great. It is higher priced but very solid.
