Product had no flavour like Cote D’or should have. Not sure if it’s the way the product has been stored by the seller or due to Mondelez taking over the company and producing poor quality chocolate (as they have done with most other companies they have acquired). Sadly I won’t be purchasing any further Cote D’or products. I used to purchase a lot of Cote D’or products when I lived in Europe and unfortunately won’t be purchasing anymore.

When my brother was coming for a rare visit, from far away, I knew he had had no luck at all getting this brand of chocolate--his very favourite one--where he is now for a job abroad, I figured I could surely get his his beloved Cote D'or milk chocolate bar here in Canada, but nope. Only on Amazon have I found them being sold. This pack of individually wrapped little bite-size chocolates was hideously expensive, but his happiness was worth it. They were well packaged for shipping and came in good shape. I must admit, that even though I am a complete chocoholic, loving brands from the best down to Hershey bars, this is the one brand I do not like at all. I don't know why others do, but Cote D'Or certainly does have a really devoted fan base, so it is just a matter of taste. I was thankful to have found them for sale here, and loved being able to put it on the table in the guest room as a surprise. And he was indeed surprised. Big smiles all 'round.
