CLIFF RICHARD THE ''SING-A-LONG'' COL

Three dvds in one slimline box for an absolute bargain price! These three films all seem to have been transferred to dvd from digital masters as there is not the slightest sign of film scratching. These are also the Cliff Richard films that are known the majority of ‘oldies’ who saw them when released in the early 60s. They were hugely successful earning more money at the box office than the first James Bond films that were released about the same time. Songs from these films are still popular nearly 60 years later! Cliff actually made 7 full length movies, two before these three and two after, unfortunately, with one exception the other four are pretty rare and expensive when you do find them. If you can sing The Young Ones or Bachelor Boy then you will love this quality set at a terrific price.

This was my mum's favourite film she has dementia now and doesn't speak much, but she knew all the words to the songs. It was lovely to see it again.

I've been looking for a Cliff Richard collection for years as I used to watch his movies every week at my Grandparent's house when I was younger, and at 25yrs old I still love them! I get all nostalgic when I see Summer Holiday on the TV. I found this DVD set and was so pleased when I got it through the post! I watched the films without the subtitles (sing-a-long) as I know the songs well enough already but to have the option of Sing-a-long is amazing! So much fun.Definate show-stopper!

All three of these films are excellent. Such great tunes. It's a pity they didn't have subtitles but at least the sing a long musical tunes are optionally on screen there for you to enjoy. I love the Young Ones, with the great music and comical situations. And Summer Holiday is brilliant with all that great scenery and toe tapping tunes. I hadn't seen Its A Wonderful life until now so am glad I bought this set. I would recommend it to all the family.

Being a huge Cliff fan from the '60's, this is a must to have. I've watched these movies about 20 or 30 times since initially released at the movies.I bought this 3 disc set of DVD's for my daughter and grandkids who just love the music and positive vibes. If you love the way music used to be, you can't go past this colourful and timeless collection of the Cliff Trilogy.

I got this on behalf of someone else and apparently they loved it so good results there then but wouldnt buy it for myself not my type of thing thanks for reading

Having watched Summer Holiday as a child in adoration of Cliff and the Shadows with very happy memories I think the film was best left in the past sadly. The sing-along lyrics are helpfully displayed but unfortunately many of the songs were not so familiar. The famous ones being Batchelor Boy and Summer Holiday. I haven’t yet watched the other two films but shall continue to enjoy the family singing the songs in the car whenever we set off on a holiday! The triple pack is still good value for money if you are nostalgic I guess.

Leider wird Cliff Richard in concert bisher nicht im deutschen Fernsehen gezeigt. Eine Cliff Richard DVD ist immer zu empfehlen.

Il n'est plus nécessaire d'acheter les 3 films séparément, ce coffret les réunit enfin, et pour le prix d'un seul DVD... Ces 3 longs métrages, très représentatifs de leur époque, ont l'avantage de ne pas être des copier/coller les uns des autres. Ils ont certes leurs faiblesses, leur naïveté, mais l'enthousiasme et la fantaisie des années 60 sont bien présents. Le seul problème est qu'il n'y a que la piste audio originale en VO disponible, même pas de sous-titres (sauf pour les chansons). Ce qui n'est pas un très gros handicap, les histoires étant des plus faciles à suivre même avec des connaissances limitées en anglais.Et puis il y a les chansons mises en images et en danses, qui à elles seules représentent le plus gros attrait de ces DVD. En prime, les paroles défilent pour un "singalong" avec Cliff et les Shadows... C'est vivifiant, coloré, dynamique et optimiste.DVD 1 : des jeunes se mobilisent pour sauver leur dancing club menacé de destruction par un projet immobilier...DVD 2 : 8 jours de vacances a travers l'europe à bord d'un bus anglais à 2 étages... et plein de péripéties...DVD 3 : un groupe de jeunes se retrouve par hasard au beau milieu d'un tournage de film en plein désert, ils vont faire leur propre film en parallèle, mais de façon clandestine...
