I had ordered 2 different companies underskirts this one and the other from Shimaly. I went with the XL and not the suggested bigger size since people commented that it runs large which I agree. The petticoat is beautiful fit perfect with just the right amount of fullness for my gown and a nice soft lining so no scratchy feeling against my legs. Some reviews here mentioned a strong fish odor but I’m happy to say this one had no odor at all but the one from Shimaly which arrived a few days ago had a very strong odor of fish which I’m guessing is from the dyes they use that sadly remained even after several days airing it out so I will be returning that one and keeping this. Highly recommend!

I’ve never owned a petticoat in my life and don’t know why! It definitely elevates your dress/skirt and gives it that extra umph that makes it from flat to fab! This was super comfortable and made a big difference in my cosplay dress. It is sheer but not enough to display the goods and helped hide the goods without the need for shapewear under my dress. I stuck to my usual size and tbh I could’ve gone one size down but that didn’t bother me because I still felt so beautiful and true to character.

This petticoat really elevated the look and made an inexpensive floor length formal dress both feel more comfortable (no static cling to my legs!) and fluffed it just enough to look really nice. Huge plus that the black color didn’t peek through so I have a new Halloween piece next 😊 I’m 5’11”, the silky waist part came up to just below my chest and the skirt itself hit just above my ankles.

I had bought this trying to save a dress I felt insecure in. I figured adding volume to the skirt would alleviate that. However the many ruffles, the cheap material, and the limits of my dress's skirt meant it not only continued to look unflattering, creating these awkward lumps under the dress, but it also tore in a few places the first time I tried it on (I wasn't even yanking it up, I was trying to fluff out the skirt).However, I have a Ren faire/Oktoberfest sort of outfit that really looks lovely with this under it. I think with circle skirts with tiers/ruffles, or with some sort of liner over the petticoat, that it would work nicely for costumes and some period dresses.TLDR: Cheap way to explore petticoats for costumes/period pieces, but not a quality item that'll hold up for elegant/expensive outfits.

It was too long. It fit otherwise. I'm 5'4" and took up each layer by about an inch, so 3" total. I used it under a ballgown style skirt and it gave the skirt an excellent shape.

It was packed as a very slim item as it was vacuumed but when I opened it was beautiful and elegant, I tried seems fit but a bit loose, I have not wore it, when I will wear it I will know How it will carry for a longer period of time.
