All chafing sets come with a 13 qt (6" deep) water pan and a 9 qt (4" deep) food pan. The 2" space between is where the 1" of steaming water (or 2" of ice water) keeps the food at a safe temperature.In order for a 13 qt (6" deep) food tray to stay at temperature, it would need an 18 qt (8" deep) water pan beneath it, which is what I expected to receive.But no - incredibly, the water pan is the same 6" depth as the food pan(s). There is zero space between for water, they are just nested.What to do? Order an 18 qt (8" deep) water pan? The distance between the bottom of the 6" pan and the sterno shelf will not accommodate an 8" deep water pan!The only thing to do is get some hard 1.5" thick silicone rings and slip them beneath the food pan(s) to create a space for steaming (or iced) water to do its job.I strongly urge the manufacturer to provide a kit containing 3 such rings to any customers who actually want their food to be maintained at a safe temperature.

It makes any kind of food look appealing. I LOVE and recommend to everyone because you deserve to own the BEST! To everyone that loves to entertain, you NEED!

Exactly what i wanted. Many options of serving pan options. Good quality. Edges were sharp but overall extremely happy with product and purchase.

So the quality of the materials if fabulous. But mine arrived broken (as in the lid) and by the time I had opened the box it was really too late to get another sent. It is made of good quality metal. Very heavy all around.

This chafing buffet set is way bigger than I thought it would be. It looks so professional and works well. You get several different pans to acommodate any configuration you may need. The metal pans are a nice quality as is the chafing holder itself. You do need to buy your own sterno fuel to keep food warm as it is not included in the set. You do get a sterno holder with the set and it has a snuffer on it that makes blowing out the sternos a breeze. I did get some condensation from the chafing dish. I had to keep a towel underneath it to absorb the dripping water. It wasn't too bad though. I may have put too much water or something. You do have to attach the handle to the lid and take it off when you are storing the chafing dish. It did not fit in the box with the handle on the lid. It is easy to attach it so that is not a huge problem. I would still buy this chafing dish even though you have to take it off for storing in the box. You could leave it on if you don't plan on storing it in the box but we don't have that kind of room in our house to store it like that. Overall it is a great chafing dish and I am glad I ordered it. It will come in handy for our big family gatherings.

The item arrived quickly and was packaged in a second box. I opened it and found that the inside box was tore up and re taped. I decided to open it and found that the item inside was scratched. Returning it

I highly recommend! I got so many compliments, we used for 6 hours straight and the food was hot e tasting fresh. Really nice.

Worked well to keep food hot. Base is a bit flimsy but for non commercial use it does the job. For the few times a year u will use it, the price was what sold me.

J"ai aimé l'article. Maleureusement des boulons manquait, alors je ne peux pas fermer la fermeture comme il se doit. L'un des pilier sur lequel se pose le gaz des feu est manquait et 4 sous vices. Je ne sais pas où aller pour m'adresser aux vendeurs, et pourtant je me préparait à acheter plus. C'est dommage.
