Fantastic grip
I bought these for the good grip and I was not disappointed. They are the best boots I have ever had for icy weather and mud and I donβt fear breaking a hip every time I take the dog out. Extremely warm and cosy but if like me you have sweaty feet then you will have to dry the boots with newspaper after each use which is a not a problem and a small inconvenience. I buy a size larger in all footwear as I have to wear orthotics and a wedge in one boot. I have put an extra insole in as they are a bit roomy but canβt really comment on whether they are true to size. They are lightweight and easy to walk in. I usually walk 8 to 10 km with the dog most days and find them very comfortable. I canβt recommend them enough.

Wouldn't buy again
I'm on my second pair of these but I regret not looking elsewhere the second time.I bought the first pair 3 years ago and wore them for occasional muddy dog walks. After 18 months of light use (once or twice a week) the padded 'cuff' at the top started to come away on both boots and a small hole appeared where they crease as your foot bends. The hole was just annoying at first, letting in small amounts of water to make your foot damp until it grew to the point of unbearable.Winter approached last year and I needed new boots for the bad weather. I decided to get the same bits again as they were comfortable and warm whilst new.I wear them more regularly now, almost daily but not for long periods. I bought them at the end of November, it's now mid March. The cuff is coming away again and now the fleece lining has just completely failed. It's worn thin very quickly and then ripped making them very uncomfortable to wear.I'm probably going to have to cut the lining out to be able to continue to wear them but it is one of the main reasons I bought them. On the plus side they are still water tight! It's a shame as they are the most comfortable bits I've ever worn whilst intact but I can't recommend them to anyone as the durability is very suspect.

Comfortable, warm and waterproof
They fit well and are comfortable - a bit tight around the calves at first but have stretched a bit after the first walk. Great for walking the dog in the muddy countryside and so far my feet have stayed warm and dry. They seem well made and should last a long time.

Good all-round boots.
I bought these to replace an identical pair that got torn on some wire. They have a nice rugged sole, and a fleece lining that should last a year at least. The toggle-tops help to keep out water, and the boots feel very comfortable to wear for long periods. I walk my dog in these boots for 35+ miles a week, in all weather conditions, and have no complaints. However, llike any rubber boots, they are easily punctured by thorns, brambles, wire, or sharp foreign objects. Once that happens, they let in water to the affected boot, making it uncomfortable to wear them. But this also happened to Neoprene boots that cost me Β£100+, so these Dunlops are a great-value alternative, especially as the excellent sole makes them so nice to wear for long periods. The moral of the story is that you do not need to pay Β£100+ for a good dog-walking boot used in the countryside. These are good enough, and more comfortable than most.

Just what I needed.T
These boots are very comfortable. I have yet to wear them in cold weather but the fleece lining is warm. I can't say how durable they are as I only wore them for the first time yesterday. They are certainly light weight and I am pleased with my purchase.
