Alessi RK01 Mysqueeze TRUS-Squeezer, Silver

As others have said, this item suffers from a classic Alessi issue (I won’t say a problem). The design is beautiful but the functionality as a juicer is limited. In use as a juicer you tend to get sticky juice on your hands, the pulp can easily fall into whatever collection vessel you use - and it doesn’t come with one - and it’s difficult to clean. However, it is truly a wonderful thing. It looks stunning - I use mine as a paperweight. I purchased it fully realising that whilst a remarkable item, it would not squeeze lemons well. I have other, ugly, devices for that. So this is a classic Alessi item. It looks fantastic and must have taken a lot of skill to make. Buy one and you’ll see. It won’t juice your lemons though. As an Alessi aficionado with 200+ items this is a five star product.

This is quite big, and, apart from looking like something from the 'adult' bit of Amazon, it's an excellent orange squeezer. A little large for lemons but it does the job. Gets your hands messier than tabletop squeezers, but of course the flip-side is it's easy to clean. It looks so nice I keep it in the fruit bowl.

Stupid to say about a juicer, but this is a really nice piece. I don’t go as far as to have it on display, but it is always very positively commented on whenever someone uses it. It’s a quality heavy item and a pleasure to feel and use.

A classic design, if a little useless as a lemon-squeezer. Definitely form over function, but what a form!

Ich habe die Zitronenpresse in einem Haushaltswarengeschäft in Italien gesehen und war begeistert von Design und Verarbeitung. Deshalb hab' ich das gute Stück bei Amazon - deutlich günstiger - bestellt. Leider entsprach die Verarbeitung aber nicht dem, was ich im Geschäft gesehen hatte. Die einzelnen "Rippen" waren ziemlich unsauber gefertigt und nicht ordentlich entgratet. Ob das Stück zufällig durch die Qualitätskontrolle gerutscht ist oder ob über das Internet B-Ware verkauft wird? Kann ich nicht sagen, aber ich hab' die Zitronenpresse umgehend zurückgeschickt - schade eigentlich. Im nächsten Urlaub kauf' ich das Ding in Italien. Update Oktober 2019 : Das Qualitätsproblem hatte ich auch im italienischen Haushaltswarengeschäft. Das Ausstellungsstück war einwandfrei, das zunächst gekaufte hatte Verarbeitungsmängel. Ich habe aber problemlos reklamieren können und jetzt ein wirkliches Designhighlight in der Küche.

Super útil, muy cómodo y original, de acero inoxidable, se puede lavar en el lavavajillas sin problemas, no se pone feo como otros.

un bel oggetto di design , da mettere in tavola anche solo perché è bello, una oggetto ben fatto ma che richiede un po di delicatezza al momento del lavaggio (no lavastoviglie) . Io quando lo ripongo nel cassetto lo metto dentro un sacchetto morbido per gli occhiali.
