These are amazing cameras. You don't even have to turn on the night mode at night it records night time perfect without even turning on the night vision. Highly recommend. These are amazing and the app is free to use and it's very simple an user friendly. Very easy to secure your home or business with these cameras an this Alfred app.

I had used Alfred camera system, using old and retired cell phone, specifically a mix of apple and android devices. They worked great until something popped up on the screen, needing me to address the notification. And this ALWAYS Happened when I was on work travel. I bought three of these, two were to replace cell phone cameras and one was a newly placed camera. I now have a 180 degree view where it was difficult to place the cell phones with the same view. They are also waterproof. Very easy to mount with screws or a very sticky pad, both included, along with zip ties for the cables. I waited until a few bad snow storms here before posting a review. We have had two snow storms and last night was an ice storm. I have had zero issues with them working in bad weather, freezing temps and at night on low light mode. Best part is that I can add cell phones to this set up as well, as I still have one cell phone that I need to keep active. The app is also so simple and the pro plan is ridiculously inexpensive.

Having owned the original Alfred camera I was excited to purchase the plus version and compare the differences between the two models. The 2k viewing is a welcomed feature and most likely what folks will be getting this model for. My internet isn't the fastest but it is still acceptable. The magnetic base is a great feature and comes in more handy then you might think. Had some strong winds (20 mph plus) and this baby stayed put with no issues. been in torrential down pour and not a hiccup despite not being covered which was great to find out.The wide viewing angle was nothing new but for my intended use (to keep an eye on my front gate for deliveries, mailbox, and suspicious vehicles / persons parking and walking where they shouldn't) it catches all the key points for me. Obviously this will change depending on your specific use so keep that in mind. I find keeping it visible has deterred folks from doing bad things at least compared to when I didn't have one out there.I haven't had the chance to test it against the California summer heat but against around 25F cold weather it is still going like a champ. Night vision makes the pitch black highly visible and I am able to see critters and bugs very clearly (no humans walking at night thus far so can't comment on that aspect).The included micro SD card was a nice touch and although I swapped the 64GB for a 256GB one it came in handy for a different camera that isn't such a high priority location. I get around 70 plus days of recordings on the 256GB which is more than 4x the time that the 64GB would give, so I highly recommend upping that to 256GB if you decide and are able/wanting to. I get about 15 days with the 64GB on the non 2k Alfred camera just to give you the comparison.Motion detection is hit or miss though with either model. While it will catch most threats there are times where it does miss some things. Usually these will be small animals like birds and such but it will catch the leaves moving in the wind from far away so your mileage will vary I suppose. It hasn't missed a human walking by that I am aware of if that is something you are considering getting this model for.The one thing that I am unhappy with is despite being a premium member the live feed defaults to standard and not supreme or the 2k ultra on the plus model. I have come to understand that this is due to my internet speed not being higher which I can't make it any faster for now. it would be nice to have a setting to override this behavior being a premium member, but that is on the software side and not to do directly with the camera itself but thought I would mention it here for those who might find themselves on the same boat. My download is 45 megs and 4 megs upload to be specific.Overall, this is a great camera for the price and the features offered. I must disclose that I am a Alfred premium user so having no restrictions to certain features is a plus. I would imagine that if I didn't have the premium subscription it wouldn't be as useful and a bit more annoying with the ads. I have been using Alfred for YEARS with just an extra phone, then the indoor camera as of last year, and now the outdoor camera. The ease of use with the app is what I like most. Everything is at your fingertips.The infared lights work well and clear 2k Super quality (down to simple HD) makes this a game changer along with AI subject tracking.I am hoping they come out with a batter version for the outdoor camera ASAP as that is the only negative thing I would say and not worth taking away a star over.Alfred for the win - always!

The media could not be loaded. UPDATE: I adjusted the alert settings to only alert for people and vehicles. This helped tremendously. I am very impressed with the night video quality. You cannot beat these cameras for the money. I am comparing them to my Arlo cameras and these are better and with a more consumer friendly subscription plan too.I really love my indoor Alfred cameras and I was very excited when they started selling the exterior cameras. I have been using Arlo as my outdoor security camera system. But Alfred has a much better, cost effective, subscription service.I ordered two Alfred Plus exterior cameras. Unfortunately, it started to rain at 3:15 a.m. last night and the camera woke me up with over 30 alarms in rapid succession until I turned off the alert function. I have the camera set at the lowest sensitivity and that did not help. Long story short, I can't allow the camera to stay in alert mode or I won't get sleep. This makes them not appropriate as a security camera. It's very disappointing to me. I would like to move away from the Arlo system completely, but this apparently is not the answer.I will continue to try different settings to mitigate this problem. And I will update if I find a solution.

this camera is awesome! I wish alfred made doorbell cameras like Ring because this catches everything that Ring doesnt

At first everything was going very well I fulfilled its work correctly until one day I disconnected from my WI-FI network and could no longer connect again for more attempts than ise could not yet restarting the camera completely barias veses , maybe it was a manufacturing defect or maybe it does not have good quality and durability the product.
