BLACKHAWK S.T.R.I.K.E. Elite Vest

My Favorite Accessory when Treking thru the Mountains on my Quad. Attached Mollie Butt Pack to the Back of the Vest, few other Pouches to the Front, worked out Perfect.

I am 6ft 175lbs and this LBV is so long it would inhibit bending and sitting, and bunch up on my belt.

I understand the economics of one size fits all, but would it really cost that much more to make 3 diff sizes? One gripe on this is that it is ultimately adaptable to most body shapes and sizes. Yeah, I know that should be a good thing, but we all know that something that is made to be everything to everybody is never better than something a bit more customized. Depending on where you adjust the velcro and straps, you are left with a lot of slack and infuriating velcro adjustments. At the end of the adjustments, you will need to cut off the excess strap material and then it will only fit you or somebody with a similar body type. This is barrel shaped and one will need to be in shape in order to fit this thing properly. If you are rotund, it will be uncomfortable and look ridiculous. It is like wearing a cylinder of molle/pals, so it is not very flexible. If you have 60+% of it filled with molle/pals gear and are used to a LBV, armor, chest plate, then it shouldn't bother you too much. Since it isn't armor compatible, I think it would be more comfortable if they remove 2 inches of material between your rib cage and abdomen (where you naturally flex) and have it attach via lace/buckles whatever. Another gripe is the hydration bladder pocket is large and there is no way to compress or adjust it to keep the bladder from sloshing around. It just sits in there and works its way into an annoyance. I really wanted to like it and did a lot of research. I think it would be a great product if these issues were addressed. With all of these gripes, this is still one of the better quality LBV/molle vests out there.

Got the vest and it’s a legit Blackhawk vest, great quality and versatility, I am a 6 foot 3 300lb fat boy and I was able to adjust the vest to where it’s comfortable and functional. Definitely a great buy for the price.

Do not buy if you have a short torso, or lots of time and patience trying to adjust the shoulder straps. The entire lining on the shoulder straps are lined with velcro, and so is the inside of the pocket the shoulder straps go into.I had to jam an object into where the straps sit, to separate enough of the velcro just to get the strap fully out, so that I could wrap the bottom of the strap with a plastic bag so I could push it farther into the pocket that the straps sit in, without it getting stuck on the velcro siding. If you could access the bottom of the pouch from the underside, it wouldn't be as much of a problem, as you could just pull on it. Tomorrow, I am going to buy a wide yardstick to try and push the strap further into the pouch, and if that doesn't work, I will be returning the vest.

The shipping time from the seller was excellent considering it was not direct from Amazon's warehouses. The products build quality is outstanding. I unfortunately must return the vest because I'm short in stature. I could not adjust the vest to accommodate without sacrificing the majority of rigging on the shoulders and rendering the vest almost unusable to me. If you're tall or if your heavier set the vest is an outstanding buy and easily adjustable to everyone else's need just not the short lol.

日本人のレビューが無いとのことで書かせてもらいます。ある映画でスターローンが着てる有名なベスト。写真はオリーブのようですがきちんと発送されてくるベストの色は黒です。当方身長177cm体格ガッチリですがそれでも少し大きいと思います。痩せてる人には大きいサイズなので実用性は厳しいと思います。モールシステムにてダンプポーチをベストやマガジンポーチを付けたりと拡張性はかなり高いです。・・・これを買おうという日本人の方がいればかなりマニアックでしょうが。作りもしっかりしていて満足です。しかし着て思ったのはやはりスターローンはガッチリ&体大きいんだなぁ。
