This top looks very nice once it's installed and it fits well. The fit is tight after initial installation (as it should be). It took two of us to latch the top for the first time, even after some time in the sun.I only had a couple of minor complaints about the top and accessories provided. It would have been helpful if a pull string was provided where the side cables from the old top need to be transferred to the new top. I've seen that the higher end top suppliers have a string already in place for this. I used a straightened coat hanger with a small hook at the end. My other issue with the top itself is there were a lot of long pieces of thread peeling away from the very inside edge of the seam, but it's where the material was cut on the backside edge of the sewn seam so it doesn't seem to be a problem. The only other thing was that they could have provided the small metal clips that attach to the plastic edges of the top that go into the window channel areas. Instead, you have to remove the clips from your old top, and they take a little work to remove. Again, the higher end tops come with new clips for this; they are tiny and cheap. This top did come with the small clips for attaching the headliner ring to the new window frame.I installed the top myself and it was a big job. I've done a lot of mechanical work on many cars, but this was my first top install. Working by myself, It took me about 16 hours of working time, but I'm slow and methodical. Based on the research I did, most people can do this in about 12 hours.I watched a video on YouTube that was a huge help for me. Not the one by Bentley (not very helpful), but the one by Mecca. It's in Spanish, but I turned on Subtitles and Auto-translate (English) and that gave me an idea what the guy was saying on the video.

Matched the original, no instructions, if you need instructions you should have a pro do it.It was very tight when we first tried to close it.After it sat out for a day in the sun it closes perfectly.

This top has been on my car for less than 2 weeks and it's already peeling away from the glass. This was professional installed. I can't return item as I had to wait for my appointment plus I would have to pay to have it taken back off. So I missed the return window. Who has that kind of money to pay to replace it then have to pay to take it off and replace again.Buyers beware!

I was super happy to get a new Top for my 2004 VW. Halfway done and we noticed this little rip in the inside buy the mirror. Looks like they burned it so it would stop ripping. I reached out let’s see if them contact me. I’m so bummed.

This roof was purchased for a customer by our business so not only was this product needing to be accepted by our customer but also us !. The quality was much better than we expected, yes it was not an easy job and yes we expected just that as numerous people had been approached to replace the top and not one was prepared to tackle it.The instructions supplied were clear and precise, additional parts like the rivets and the zipper were enclosed.when it was completed the customer arrived and could not believe the quality of this roof! she was overjoyed to see her little car back to being pretty again.Admittedly my Son was concerned after he finished as the roof was tight to close, I assured him we just need to lock it down and leave it to stretch and rest in position, 2 days later we unlocked it and operated it, well it is in the pictures, they speak for themselves thank you to the manufacturer and seller for a great result.

The top was installed by a professional upholstery shop, however it has begun slipping and separating from the back window and passenger window despite not being used at all since Installation. I reached out to buyer, got told that “this hasn’t happened, was a DIY project” and after I responded “no, i got it done at an upholstery shop” twice, I still have not received a resolution or response. I’m in college and cannot afford to replace this top again, so it’s very disappointing that my $800+ only stretched a few months before I was back at square one.

Too was great quality! Stitch work was ok but materials where more then expected! Over all a great top for the money!
