This type of lamp is exactly what I wanted as a replacement for a similar one in my bedroom. It has different colours of bulb and brighter/dimmer options and does the job required The power plug has a blue light on it and there's also a red light on the on/off switch. I would prefer it without either really as obviously they are noticeable in a dark room. Its also worth checking that the power cable is long enough for where you want it to go

Like other reviewers, I was a little concerned by the size of it whe it firs srrived, however the quality of the item is brilliant, and the brightness is perfect to light up a desk. I bought the item to clip onto my monitor mount, and light up my keyboard during the early evening, or on a dull rainy day, when natural light isnt enough and the main light is too much, and I must say this item is perfect for just that. The light settings are handy, the warm white on the brighter setting is perfect to light up the desk, but not so much that it is daylight again!

I bought this for use with small laptop desk, so the clip-on feature was a must. My first impression when it arrived was that it was far smaller than I was expecting - so do read the dimensions before you order! But, that said, it is big enough. You could certainly sit at the desk and read paperwork by this lamp - the brighter setting is bright enough. The dim setting would not be enough to read by, but could be useful if you wanted to illuminate a laptop keyboard without causing a lot of reflection on the screen. The three light 'colours' are useful, and distinctly different - my preference is for the warmer of the three. Many of the these low-cost, usb lights seem to be rechargeable; this one is not. That's what I wanted - a simple switch on/off lamp. But if you want to use a lamp away from a power outlet, then this isn't for you. The lamp comes supplied with a decent quality usb mains adaptor which does not appear to run hot (or melt!) as so many cheap usb mains-plugs do. The power lead is of reasonable length, if a bit thin. It came on time and was well packed. So, all in all, a satisfactory buy.

Ideal for my daughter's bunk bed. Stays where it is, and she can operate the switch comfortably herself (4yo). The light can be switched between 'warm' and 'cold', and bright and dim. The warm setting is very easy on the eye, and bright enough for reading. I wanted a mains light, so that I didn't have to fuss with batteries and charging. It's easy to tape the cable down the back of the 'leg' of the bunk bed, so that only the light and switch are visible. The quality is good, and the light doesn't droop.

Update - the switch is failing and I will soon have to bin the lamp. The light works nicely but it gets a little warm when set to anything other than cool white. It uses about 3 watts. However, the control switch is very flimsy and difficult to operate and I do not expect it to last very long. this is a shame as the light, itself, looks and works well.

Great little lamp I was just looking for a normal lamp but when I got it’it was better than I thought it was going to be it’s got 3 different light brightness on it all with 3 different colours. It’s got the old warm colour and 2 of the new type colours of today both different. But what a great little lamp it turned out to be. Well happy. Ps. And it’s really well made seems to be good quality. Would highly recommend this lamp.

It was a very nice lamp which was very handy by the bed for reading. It has a nice range of features, with varying brightness and colours. However, recently it has started flickering significantly, to the point where it is uncomfortable to read as the light changes. I do hope it is only a one-off faulty lamp as until this issue, it was a great.

Arrived and swith didn't work, the off position just changed the light to a different strength. It is cute looking but useless in providing any light. I bought as a desk lamp but barely added any light to my keyboard. It is also extremely small. I returned this.
