FreeDiver Helium-Safe Dive Watch Sapphire Crystal Automatic Diver Watch 1000M Water Resistant Diving Watch for Men

I collect watches, ranging from Omega, Oris, Seiko, vintage Benrus & Elgin, etc. While I love these classics, I began exploring some of the lesser known Japanese, Singaporean & Chinese watches. I wear my watches- they aren’t just sitting in a cabinet- so I began to explore less expensive alternatives. Having read some great reviews of the Ratio Freediver watch, I pulled the trigger on this watch and was very impressed with the quality, design and reliability. This stainless steel watch is perfectly smooth where it needs to be (some Chinese watches have sharp edges in places), with all surfaces polished to a beautiful satin finish. The machining of the case, stem, and bezel is excellent. The band links show no seams at all, and the buckle holds the watch securely on your wrist, with an additional fold -over safety clasp. I have a medium sized wrist and so I removed 3 links and moved the micro-adjustments on the safety clasp for a perfect fit. I really like the bold styling of the face, with the orange-outlined minute hand and large, bright dots of lume for the hour markers. The 120-click bezel moves smartly yet holds its place when adjusted. I think the watch is an ideal weight and perfectly balanced, so your arm doesn’t feel weighed down. It’s ludicrously “rated” to 1000 meters, and as a diver I know that no human has ever reached that depth outside a bathysphere or sub, but that’s ok- as long as it is waterproof for swimming or accidental dunking I’m fine with that boast. So far it’s been fine. The movement is the reliable and accurate Seiko NH35, so what’s not to LOVE about this diver?

A really great looking watch. The way that the face is illuminated, and the choice of a kind of greenish color against a black face makes it easy to read at a glance. Even the choice of the date window's black and white stand out. I ordered it with the metal bracelet which is quite heavy. I'd recommend buying it with the rubber strap to save weight. The only real downside to me is the lack of accuracy. It gains about 8 seconds every day. I think a watch this expensive should keep accurate time.

The only complaint I have is the bevel is a little too loose for my taste. I have probably 50 micro brand Asian watches and this ranks right up there. Fit and finish is great. I will update once I know how it keeps time. I would recommend buying it, you won’t be disappointed.

This is a great looking watch but it loses about 2-5 minutes a week, and if you take it off for more than 10 hours it stops. Make sure the wined steam is screwed all the way in before you go into the water or it will ruin it.

This is a TAG killer. And I’m a big fan of Tag but price is stout. This thing looks great. Feels good and a little heavy. Bought the white face and I’m getting a ton of compliments. I will tell you to buy it. You will like it to. I don’t normally do reviews. But this is a really good surprise and I really like it.

Hot garbage. The only good part of the watch was made by Seiko...the rest of it is trash. Got this for Christmas 2024...so barely a year in...the safety clasp broke in March and the whole band just failed completely. Tried to get a new band...didn't even want a full replacement...just a band...hell I would have even paid for it...but they told me no. After a few months (March, April) they said to send the watch back (on my dime) and they would 'take a look'. I gave up and just decided to wear it as was. 10 minutes ago, the main clasp broke, and of course...they use some crazy skinny bars so I can't even repair it. I'll still put another band on and wear it...maybe when I'm working on my car or doing yard work...but pretty disappointed. I know I didn't spend a ton of money, but I would think a watch company that talks about their reliability would A) be reliable, and B) stand by their product when it fails in the first 3 months. Would not buy Ratio again.

The first thing I noticed was that I can actually read the day/date. I've been wearing a Citizen ECO drive for a few years; but as I've gotten older, the date is now too small for me to read. The freediver is perfect. It's quite a bit heavier than my 200 meter ECO drive diver, but I think once I get the bracelet adjusted and start wearing it, it won't be a problem. This thing feels like it's built like a tank and seems like it should cost more than it did. It’s been almost a year now and the only noticeable wear is some small scratches on the bracelet clasp. I’ve only had the watch off at bedtime. Yeah it looses a bit of time, but unless need a watch that’s hyper-accurate it works just fine. I’ve developed the habit of winding it a bit each night before I go to bed and I have no issues. I set the time when I’m forced to fix the date. I have zero complaints.

Me extenderé diciendo que no nado ni en la alberca. Tengo gusto por los relojes de menos de 500 pesos mexicanos que sean de acero inoxidable es todo, pero no son herméticos para nadar o busear. Pero que se empañe la carátula en clima cálido definitivamente el problema soy yo. Este problema se solucionó obviamente con este bello reloj, 1000 metros abajo del nivel del mar es demasiado.

価格にしては満足いく物と感じます。 重量がある物がお好みであれば十分すぎる重さです。ただ一点、ベゼルの回転時の抵抗感が軽いです。24㎜太めのラグ幅で気に入ってます。
